*slightly annoying sound from the video*
I've had many people ask me over my last few litters about how to crate train. And that their puppy just keeps whining.
This behaviour is normal! While they sleep in a crate nearly 100% of the time that they're with me, they're not alone so this is still a new process.
Astrid whines for 10 minutes or so and then will happily sleep in there for a few hours. (As did all my other dogs as puppies)
She has had two successful full nights sleep in there now. It is a long pain staking process but it is something essential for them to learn in my eyes.
You never know when they may need to stay at the vet. (Even if it's only ever for their spay/neuter)

For those of you who do not crate your puppies/dogs I am curious, how do you prevent them from getting into things when you are not present?

This is always a bitter sweet feeling, but I can't wait to see these guys settle in to their new homes 💓💓 I truly loved this litter, they were so easy, potty trained very well with the pellets, and so full of snuggles 💓
