So tonight I lost probably the sweetest boy in existence.
Zym (named from the Dragon Prince) was my love bug.
Now don't misunderstand, all my rats are lovers. But Zym had the biggest heart of them all.
Even if he just met you he loved you. The day I brought them home he wanted to be in my arms during the car ride!
Sometimes I felt like Zym was the middle child of the trio. Not a beautiful and superficial like Snow, and not naughty and full of attitude like Scuzzy. He was quite and just liked being made something of. And I'll admit there are times I probably took him for granted, and even though I like to believe I caught myself from doing that too much early. I still regret that it happened at all.
Zym was normally the first to come when called. Unless he was at the bottom of the snuggle pile. Which he often was.
He loved the girls, humans or rats.
There was a running joke that he was the guy who could never get a lady. As he seemed to never be able to father any litters. Though I happily say he proved this joke wrong not that long ago. It actually gives me so much comfort knowing that.
He was the rat I would pull out to introduce people to them. Because his claim and gentle demeanor was perfect for that.
Dear Zym you gave me so much and only asked for cuddles in return. I'll miss feeling your butt sitting on my slipper asking to be held.
But you're with Scuzzy now. I hope you both have wonderful cuddles and playtime together again.

These is little girls are Gamora and Nebula. They'll be joining Fenrir with Élevage Moonlight Maeluu - Raterie et Hamstery Nains.
Gamora is a little girlboss type. She decides what's she's going to do and when
Nebula is more calm and cuddly though she gets random spurts of girlie go-go.

This handsome young man is named Fenrir. He'll be heading off with Élevage Moonlight Maeluu - Raterie et Hamstery Nains when he's ready.
This little guy is as chill as can be. And cuddly to boot.

So I know this is not news to most if not all of those following this page. But I decided to post this anyway in hopes maybe now maybe it would lead to one l even just one more person becoming a little more educated about rats.
