Today is our beloved Humorus Holiday, Aka Rosie’s 7th birthday ! She is thoroughly enjoying her new life, after retiring from being a riding horse. She is being loved, pampered and extremely happy! Thank you to for helping place her into a new home 🥰

Talking In Whispers had his WEC debut and was a star!! He was such an excellent boy all week, and stepped into every ring like he’d been raised there. We did a little switch up and played in jumper land to try something new ! Rachael was a great sport and we had some huge breakthroughs in the schooling ring (as well as some pretty goofy comments going INTO the show ring 🤣). Thank you for giving me and Chelsea a few heart attacks and then riding your butt off, never giving up and always coming out with a smile and a pat for your pony. Chelsea also got to take Hugo around the 3’0” Thoroughbred Hunter division and had a blast ! Results for his team are as follows. Rachael and Hugo

Next up we have On The Double ! Aka Dublin. Lauren shared her lovely boy with Emilie for the week and both gals had some wonderful rounds and great flat classes with him where they could show off their equitation. We’ve all been working hard at home and it payed off in the big ring. Emilie demonstrated her catch riding abilities, and showed Dublin off beautifully in some under saddle classes. I was also proud of how well Lauren knows her horse, executing some extremely handy turns in their derby, earning a spot in the ribbons out of 35 riders! Lauren and Dublin

SWS Meadowsweet was the goodest boy coming back to WEC for the second year. His girls had each only ridden him a handful of times, but they stepped confidently into the ring after a solid schooling. It was so fun to have him show these gals the ropes at WEC! Lizzy and Dexter

SWS Autumn Blaze, AKA Larry was the BEST boy for his girls all week. He went from jumping around in the big ring with Ella, to taking care of his momma in the poles class. Ella put down some of the best trips we’ve ever seen from their partnership and learned SO much. He even got subbed in and was a great dude for Aysha to finish off her week at WEC. Ella and Larry

I will be posting some recaps from our week at WEC with our team! Pagani Huayra was a complete star, she was the most consistent all week and gave her riders some wonderful rounds. Anne Marie and Yra had really lovely trips in the 2’0” adult Eq division! Anne Marie’s riding improved every day and she unlocked some serious skills! We were so happy and proud of her.

Daria and Yra had lots of consistent placings and super riding from Daria ! She stepped into the 3’0” ring for the first time and absolutely killed it:

WEC Winter Classic #14…. What a WEEK!! - To our riders: I am beyond proud of each and every horse and rider this last week. Everyone experienced a challenge, and came back to the ring with positivity and a plan on how to improve, which led to some of the best riding I’ve seen from our team. You all displayed excellent horsemanship, and put down technical and confident riding for your classes. Goals were set and smashed, and tons of ribbons were won! Thank you all for keeping your heads up, trying new things, being coachable and having a blast. Your horses were in top form with you in the irons 🫶
To our families: thank you for supporting our riders endlessly. Seeing the support for them in the stands, at the stalls and behind the scenes fills my heart with joy. The cheering and pitching in all around kept everyone fed, watered and caffeinated all week. Endless thank yous for all that you do 💕. To our team: both at the show and at home, thank you for taking such excellent care of our equine partners. They were pampered day and night and received top care before travelling and are enjoying some low key hacks in the nice weather now that we are home ☀️.

The first of many thank you posts to this team for doing with us! Chelsea, a million thank yous for stepping in as assistant trainer after a casual “you should come to Ohio with us!” You juggle so many responsibilities and still showed up and gave 110% to this team all week. It felt like we shared a brain cell, and were always on the same page. Thank you for being the biggest cheerleader at ringside for our girls. Myself and Silverwood love you and are lucky to have you … when we can 💕🫶👀

Congrats to our riders for a successful day on Sunday ! Lauren, Julia and Dublin have such a beautiful partnership. Lauren and Dublin were reserve champion of the 0.60, followed by Julia (in her first jumper show ever!) also being reserve champion of the 0.75. Finally we had Miss Lina and Zoe who were Champions of the 0.90 division. These partnerships have improved so much in the last three months. I could not be more thrilled. We also were very lucky to have so many supporters come out and cheer the riders on! We have such a great team, thank you to those who came to lend and hand and cheer.

We had such a lovely time with this past Sunday during the stretching and body work clinic. Thank you to everyone in attendance, we gained so much knowledge and can’t wait to apply it to our horses!!

So thankful for our AMAZING families that call Silverwood home ! Everyone has been pulling together to prepare for our big move November 1. Today was part one of cleaning and organizing to get our new space ready. I am so proud to have these amazing riders and their friends and families as part of our team 💕

Part two of Silver wrap up! All of our horses and riders were amazing all season, moving up to new heights, showing for the first time, and trying new things. Endlessly thankful for the great horsemanship and positive attitudes from everyone all summer. We also wouldn’t have so many fantastic shots without the wonderful for being behind the camera 💕

2024 Silver season wrap up! Congratulations to Team SWS on all their hard work this season, you continue to make your coaches so proud. Thank you to the parents, families and friends for supporting the riders, and their amazing horses. Massive thanks and love to for piloting the show team this year, and all her hard work at home prepping the riders and their horses for a successful season. Many new partnerships formed and flourished! Further thank yous to .trott and for all their work behind the scenes, keeping both horses and humans alive on those hot weekends ! You are deeply appreciated 💜

Our beloved Dauphine is officially off to her next chapter. Thank you and for allowing Silverwood to have her in our blossoming program and trusting her to our care! She will be deeply missed but I’m sure we will cross paths again. A once in a lifetime pony for a few special kiddos that got to enjoy a lot of firsts with her. Good luck baby Dolphin! 🐬
