My name is Nancy Crawford and currently I am a proud human "Mom" for a rescued pup, Grace (Bishon/Maltese), and two cats, Grey-Sea (Ragdoll) and Charlie Chance (Domestic Short Hair, orange Tabby). I will provide care for your pet/s in your home while you are not able to be home with them. I can walk your small dog, or let them out (which ever you prefer), feed and provide fresh water for

your small dog, cat (will clean kitty litter), or other small animal/s or bird/s (will clean bird cage/s). I will also spend some quality time with your pet/s during my visit/s. I also can do a home check while in taking care of your pet/s if you are absent for several days and wish me to do so (FYI - some insurance agencies require you to have a home check if you are away more than a few days). I will provide visits for your pet/s, in your home, in or near the town of Goderich, Ontario. Note: By special arrangement, I can stay overnight at your home to care for your pet/s and home (ample notice required to ensure dates are available). I also will take care of a pet/s in my home by special arrangements, providing your dog/cat gets along well with other dogs/cats. The costs and details will be discussed at the free "meet and greet". Hello, everyone.
I want to let you know that I have appreciated having the opportunity to care for your pets over the past ten years!
I have decided to resign caring for other people's pets in the future. As you know, walking dogs has been very challenging for me over the past few years because of osteoarthritis of my hip. Medication for pain control sometimes makes life difficult and keeping schedules straight has been challenging for me as well. Thank you for understanding.
I will be closing this Facebook link in the near future, but thought it best to post my immediate pet care closure.

Yesterday, Grey-Sea crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. Thank you to Heubner-Ridder Veterinary Hospital for your compassion shown to Grey-Sea and myself. Grey-Sea was 16 years, 2 months, and 16 days old. Here are a few pictures of Grey-Sea ... in particular, is the calendar pictures from 2014 where Dale Matthies caught a beautiful picture of her. Rest now, my sweet heart kitty, until we meet again 💕

Kitty Kat, AKA Boots, KK has crossed over the Rainbow Bidge... he was 20 years of age. I had the pleasure of caring for Kitty Kat on occasions since September 2018! KK was always such a good boy to let me put his thyroid medication on the inner side of his ear🥰 And then, I would give him 5 treats. Hello to all of my friends and clients.

I just want to personally update everyone on our dog, Grace. It is with great sadness that we had to make one of life's biggest decisions and have little Grace PTS. So, on Friday, February 2, 2024, Grace went very quickly and very peacefully to sleep for the last time, while in my arms.

I know she is now over the Rainbow Bridge getting aquainted and reacquainted with the animals and birds across the bridge! There is no more pain or sorrow across the bridge, so I will try not to be sad for too long. As Grace is my "heart dog", I know in my heart that Grace would feel my sadness and I don't want her to be sad. So, rest and play as you feel fit my sweetie, little Gracie Grace❣️

I will think of Grace often for the rest of my life and beyond❤️
