This is Hazel one of our elder pups here at Fluff & Stuff Pet Grooming.
When Hazel arrived she was very nervous and did not want to be left here. When her family left, we spent time letting her explore the shop and warm up to the groomers.
Once in the tub we reassured her through gentle tones, positive responses and repeating her name and using phrases like " Good girl".
This goes along way in helping the fur babies feel safe and we begin to earn their trust.
Throughout the grooming process we continue to monitor for signs of discomfort or stress.
With having both groomers working on the pups this ensures our fur babies have to spend less time on the table and always have comfort throughout the groom. We feel this process has worked very well to ensure a quality groom with the least amount of stress for the pups.
