Going back through my posts regarding Pepé i notice that it looks like I forgot to mention Jasmine Sidam. Without her kindness, talent and professionalism Pepé would certainly not have gotten very far. She traveled with him, boarded him, groomed him and handled him. She is an amazing person and I thank my lucky stars that I was able to meet her. My apologies Jasmine, I should have said all of this long before now.😊

“Pepe” finished his championship today defeating some of Canada’s Top Toys under Mr. Darryl Vice 🇺🇸 at the Hub City Kennel Club in Warman, Saskatchewan with a stellar Toy Group 2!!
All under the professional guidance of his best friend Jasmine Dancer.
Words can’t express our gratitude for your exceptional care of our newly found farm dog, talkative, little house pet that we love so much🥹. I think I speak for us both when I say tonight we’ll be “walking on sunshine”

Would anyone like a poodle fur rug? I am going to skin Bertha for taking a full bottle of herring oil, chewing it open and spreading it all over my kitchen floor...where all the other dogs could walk through it and track it through the house. Our sweet Locksie still is looking for a home of her very own, where she can be treated like the princess she is. Some information about Locksie: She is 4 years old. She has been extensively health tested and is as fit as a fiddle. She has been spayed and had gastropexy surgery ( as a precaution against bloat). She is good on a leash and has good basic obedience skills. She loves car rides. She is a dream to groom and can be extensively handled ( toothbrushing, nails, bathing etc). She is not a picky eater and enjoys many treats, She is very lean and in no way overweight.She enjoys her daily walk or a short run but her exercise needs are very low. She has been around many types of people with no issues ( even when people came to see and handle her puppies). we would prefer she go to a home with no other pets, she does not enjoy the company of cats (old and slow are fine), female dogs or energetic small dogs. She is comfortable with a quiet mid to large male dog. She would be unhappy in a home with energetic pets.

She would be an excellent pet for a quiet person, an elderly person or a disabled person. Of course she also can suit a more active home but we want her to have the retirement that she would love and she deserves.
Locksie is truly a wonderful girl and we are only placing her in a retirement home because having a home where she is the sole focus of love and attention is what will make her the most happy.

I thought I should add a little basic info so that people don't waste any of their time enquiring about Locksie if she doesn't fit their family. The basics are: She will not be placed in a home with other pets, she has VERY low exercise needs so will not be a good hiking buddy .She is ideally suited to an home with an elderly or disabled person.etc..
