Tonight’s dinner topper is Cooked Beef and Oatmeal from Tilted Barn Pet Company. They are a company here in Alberta. We use a variety of their treats in our home as well as the cooked beef or pork on special breakfast Sundays. (We were late today... lol)
Just look at that very excited silly face, they must be doing something right! 🤣

This last weekend was fantastic thanks to the amazing ladies Lacy and Solange, who organized the bully meet that took place at musko.

We had a great time hanging out in the park and seeing all the beautiful dogs. I'm definitely looking forward to attending next year!!!

It's been an absolute pleasure having gunner at my house for the past few days. He is an absolute cuddle bug with an adorable face. He love playing in the pool and enjoys games of tug. It's clear that his parents love him very much.

We aren't working on anything training related, but I thought you guys might like to see him anyways l.

I'm happy to see these two lovely ladies finally calming down, after several hours of playing I think they might have started to get tuckered out. It's been a busy house this morning, but everyone is having fun.

Zoey and Nova first met this morning and immediately because friends. Sometime it can be difficult to find a good match for high energy dogs, but these two are perfectly suited for eachother.

This gorgeous girl Zoey is having a great time boarding with us! She is learning lots and fitting in with our own group beautifully!

(Her breed is the malinois for anyone who is wondering. They are loyal and dedicated working dogs not for the faint of heart. Don’t tell her that though 😘)

When working with your pet, it's always important to give them an opertunity to stop and think. Try to give space between commands and let the dog have an opportunity to process what your are telling them. Personally I find it difficult to catch everything if people list off a whole bunch of tasks they want completed. I Always try to put myself in the dogs paws. One thing at a time.

Got the opportunity to spend some time with Jax and Franco working on leash manners today. I had a great time working with this big boy and look forward to our next session.
