How big are English cocker spaniels? About 20-35lbs and around 1ft tall. Here is Shade, a black cocker spaniel next to Spyros a juvenile yellow lab! Spyros is not yet fully grown and Shade only has to fill out a little. English Springer spaniels are closer in size to cocker spaniels but sit somewhere in between these two pups. Both are hunting bred and can work in fields and water. Shade, however, would most likely have an easier time hunting through thick underbrush and Spyros would have an easier time hauling geese and larger game.

How the time flies… Cinnamon is reaching 10 years old. It has also been over 10 years since Caramel shaped Narvins history. She did so by winning the Canadian national all those years ago. Since then we have had many successful pups, grandpups, and great-grandpups. We love the dog training, hunting, and field trial communities she has connected us to. Now we can look forward to what the future generations will bring us. All while we appreciate the dogs that brought us to where we are today.
