As we approach the upcoming festivities, we want to remind all pet parents to be cautious about fireworks. While the celebrations can be exciting for us, the loud noises and bright lights can be distressing for our furry friends. Fireworks are expected to start around 5:15 over downtown tonight.
Here are a few tips to ensure your pets stay safe and calm:
🐾Create a quiet, comfortable space for them to retreat
🐾Keep windows and curtains closed to minimize noise and flashes
🐾Ensure they have proper identification in case of any accidental escape
🐾Give prescribed Trazodone 2-3 hours before fireworks are to start

This year, in honour of the beautiful tradition of the "Dia de los Muertos" (Day of the Dead), we created our own special Ofrenda, and we want you to be a part of it!
🕯️🎉 What is the Day of the Dead? 🎉🕯️
The Day of the Dead is a vibrant and heartfelt Mexican holiday, a time to remember and celebrate the lives of loved ones who have passed away. Families create Ofrendas (altars) adorned with marigolds, sugar skulls, candles, and the favourite foods and mementos of their dearly departed. It's a colourful, joyous, and reverent occasion where people gather to honour the memories of those they hold dear.
🌟 How You Can Participate 🌟
We invite all our beloved pet owners to be a part of our Ofrenda this year by sharing a photo and a special memory of your furry family member who has crossed the rainbow bridge. Your pet's photo will be a beautiful addition to our Ofrenda, where we celebrate the everlasting bond between pets and their owners.
To participate, simply:
📸 Share a photo of your beloved pet who has passed away.
📝 Include a brief memory or a special story about your pet.
