At Walden Animal Hospital, we believe in celebrating the rich traditions and cultural heritage that bring people and their furry friends closer together. This year, in honour of the beautiful tradition of the "Dia de los Muertos" (Day of the Dead), we created our own special Ofrenda, and we want you to be a part of it!
🕯️🎉 What is the Day of the Dead? 🎉🕯️
The Day of the Dead is a vibrant and heartfelt Mexican holiday, a time to remember and celebrate the lives of loved ones who have passed away. Families create Ofrendas (altars) adorned with marigolds, sugar skulls, candles, and the favourite foods and mementos of their dearly departed. It's a colourful, joyous, and reverent occasion where people gather to honour the memories of those they hold dear.
To participate, simply:
📸 Share a photo of your beloved pet who has passed away.
📝 Include a brief memory or a special story about your pet.
