This week's pet of the week is a repeat, as Delta is still waiting to find her forever home:
Since July. ☃️🎄
That’s how long Delta has been waiting.
She’s been the Pet of the Month, the Crimestoppers Pet of the Week, the superstar of at least 10 shelter posts, she's dressed up in costumes, happily goes along with all of their marketing plans, meets new people easily and is a star with the dog walkers...
and still, somehow, she hasn't found her place.
But we won’t stop trying — because Delta is truly one of a kind and despite how long she has been here... has never stopped smiling. 🥹
Delta is energy, joy, and personality wrapped into one dog.
She loves to:
• Zoom like she’s training for the Olympics
• Fetch anything you throw (and bring it back proudly!)
• Play with toys like it’s her job
• Chew bones with enthusiasm
• Go on adventures and car rides big or small
• Supervise every task with intense moral support
She’s incredibly smart, obedient, and eager to work.
Honestly? She’d be an amazing flyball or agility dog — she’s fast, agile, and so in tune with people.
But the shelter is hard on Delta.
She’s a dog who needs space to stretch her legs, use her brain, and just… be herself.
And that’s something only a home can give her.
Delta needs:
An outdoor space to roam
Structure, play, and enrichment
A home where her energy is celebrated, not contained
Someone who loves a dog with sparkle, spice, and spirit
A place free of other pets she might feel the need to compete with
