Mada had a good day today. She finished her championship in style with a toy group 2. Thank you Jeremy Brown for finding miss Mada. Ch Pocopayasos Made to Order! She was one of Adam’s favourite puppies….hence her name backwards!

The Pocopayasos kids were very busy and successful at the Erie Shores Kennel Club shows. Morgan finished his grand championship with BOS and select dog2x. Moto in his first time in the ring as a jr. puppy took BOW 2x puppy in breed. Hondo took Best baby puppy in breed at the toy dog specialty. Juan did his thing in the rally ring. And Tessa finished Dory's championship.

The Havanese club is selling Havanese glassware. I have some here for our local friends that would be interested. I have mine. They are nice and sturdy.

Yogi is looking for her foreever home. She is just over 4 months old. She is a sweet loving girl with puppy energy. She loves sitting up on the couch with us. She sleeps in her crate at night and is working on potty training. She is up to date on her vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting Yogi, PM us at Pocopayasos Havanese.

Ch Mylads Start Me Up (Tess) finished her championship (pending CKC approval) at the Nickle District Kennel Club.

Yup’s 1 Thing at a Time (call name: Morgan) was out for his first weekend showing at the Club Canin de l’Estrie in Victoriaville, Quebec with Kassy McCartney and attained his CKC Championship, CKC pending.

His weekend was terrific with three breed wins, a group 3 placement and today a group 1st placement, thank you Judge Jean Tremblay and then Best Puppy in Show! Thank you to the Judge Terry Carter. A group 4 placement on Monday's show to end the terrific weekend.

Thank you Kassy for handling young Morgan expertly.

Todays puppy pile! We are fostering 2 poodle pups at the moment. Curtis is the best puppy socializer! We have 2 gilrs and the light blonde boy available at the moment. We had a really hard time deciding on who to keep from this litter. One of the pretttiest litters.

HFC 2025 CALENDAR REQUEST FOR PHOTOS
The calendar committee is in the early stages of planning our Havanese Calendar for 2025. We will have the calendar available for sale on the HFC website towards the end of summer and also at the National Specialty being held in September in Ontario. We haven’t had a calendar for two years and we hope everyone will be as excited about the future 2025 edition as we are.
In order to put together a great product we need members to send us candid photos of your joyful and fun-loving Havanese. We especially welcome any “themed” photos that could be used for seasonal and holiday months. We hope to collect a good inventory of photos that we will save in a repository to be shared for use by the Newsletter and Social Media Committees. When emailing your images please be sure to send the original size photo format as that will give the high resolution quality needed for use. Please send your photos to the following email address by APRIL 1st
