Adopt Cola 🧡

Cola is a domestic shorthair brown tabby male who is 7 months old.

Meet Cola, the kitten with a heart as fizzy as his namesake! He’s a bundle of energy, always ready to pounce into a playful wrestling match with his feline friends. Cola’s goofy antics and funny quirks will keep you entertained, while his friendly nature makes him a loyal companion. His curiosity knows no bounds, and his bravery is unmatched. He’s always up for an adventure, and with him by your side, life will never be dull. His lively spirit and unwavering loyalty make him the perfect companion for anyone seeking a feline friend full of life and love.

Cola needs a special home that has another young cat or dog friend that can meet his energy levels. As Cola arrived as a singleton, he has what we call “singleton syndrome”, where he needs to be gently corrected when he nips or bites humans. On the flip side, when Cola’s energy is exhausted, he is very content to cuddle up and purr away until he falls asleep. His cuddle time is very much his choice, and he will let you know if he needs to zoom about instead of relaxing with his people.

Cola is neutered, microchipped and is vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies. He is FIV and FeLV negative. His adoption fee is $300. To apply, please submit an adoption application.

If you’re looking for a furry companion, look no further! Cola is currently at PetValu. The address is 378 Speedvale Avenue E, Guelph. The wonderful staff are available daily to facilitate meet and greets!

Incoming Happy Tail 🗞️🐈

Percy and George, formerly known as Landon and Levi were adopted during our national adoption week at PetSmart South Guelph!

“There is a different energy in the house now and it’s much more comfortable. They love to play together. They have a cardboard house, a tube, various boxes and so many toys to play with. They especially like to wrestle with each other on my bed. Percy and George sleep together often and aren’t too far away from each other most of the time.

I would like to pass along my thanks to whoever fostered them. It took a few days for Percy and George to adjust to a new home but they are well-socialized and confident kittens. They aren’t afraid of the washer or the dishwasher and seem to have been well prepared for a new home. So, thank you very much.

They are playful—they wear themselves out playing with each other and then love a nap in their box in the sun or on the back of the couch. They also like to sit with me on my lap. Not sure how that’s going to work when they are big boys. But, we’ll figure it out! Percy is more talkative, especially around meal times. He meows when he needs something. George is much quieter. He tries to meow but not much sound comes out. But he is so sweet. George loves to sit at the upstairs window and watch the birds and squirrels outside. Percy wants to be close to me. He is more of a cuddler than George, but George loves a good lap. They are little monkeys who get into the regular amount of kitten trouble and want to share whatever you are eating.

I am so happy to have them and I love them each so much.”

Thank you so much for sharing Percy and George’s photos with us. We love knowing how our alumni are doing!

If you have a HappyTail you’d like to share, please email photos and an update to [email protected]

Adopt Schumann and Wagner 💗 Please share their post so they can find their forever families before the new year!!

Schumann and Wagner are 4 month old domestic shorthair black tabby females with cerebellar hypoplasia (CH). Please read the entire profile as they have special needs. Their condition will not progress or cause their life to be any shorter than any other kitten, it just makes them a little extra special.

Meet Schumann and Wagner, a dynamic duo of feline charm! These kittens are the embodiment of sweetness and friendliness, always ready to greet their human friends with a playful swat or a gentle nudge. Their curious nature keeps them on their toes, exploring every nook and cranny with a brave heart. They’ll keep you entertained with their goofy antics and smart tricks. Their energy is infectious, and their cuddly moments are heartwarming. Loyal to a fault, Schumann and Wagner are looking for a forever home where they can share their boundless love and joy. Adopt Schumann and Wagner and experience the unique bond of a lifetime.

Schumann and Wagner have something called cerebellar hypoplasia which is a congenital condition affecting the part of their brain responsible for motor function. Long story short, it causes cats to be uncoordinated and wobbly, which does not stop them from being able to do anything a cat needs to do. They love to play and wrestle together and are able to eat just fine. They are using the litter box with no troubles while at rescue and in their foster home. Each of the kittens have varying degrees of the signs of cerebellar hypoplasia.

Schumann and Wagner are very sweet and affectionate girls. They would be best paired and adopted together or to a home with a young cat friend they can bond to.

Schumann and Wagner are spayed, vaccinated with FVRCP, and are microchipped. They will need their rabies vaccine when age appropriate which will be the responsibility of their adopters. The adoption fee for a single kitten is $300 and $550 for a pair. If you are interested in adopting, please submit an application.
