Adopt Rosieâ¤ď¸ Rosie is a young male black rabbit who is 1 years old. Rosie is neutered and up to date on revolution. He has not been successfully introduced to other rabbits and would do best as the only rabbit in his house. Meet Rosie, a young rabbit with a personality that's larger than life. This playful fellow loves to explore his surroundings, always curious about the world around him. He's friendly, often seen hopping towards anyone who enters his space with a sense of anticipation. Yet, he's also independent, content with his own company, and loves to entertain himself with toys. Rosie's humorous antics are sure to bring laughter into your home. Despite his jovial nature, Rosie prefers to be the only rabbit in his kingdom. He's a rabbit who knows what he wants - a home where he can be the star. Adopt Rosie and let him fill your life with joy and laughter. Rosie's adoption fee is $100. If interested in adopting, please submit an adoption application.
Kitten season is still going strong! Mama Yang gave birth this weekend in her foster home to six perfect minis that all have their mamaâs colours. Please give a warm DRK welcome to : Rosetta, Anya, Terrence, Flynn, Higgins, and Fiyero.
Our canned kitten food is running low again, along with our KMR. We use KMR to help kittens wean onto a canned food/KMR slurry around 4-6 weeks old. While these kittens are over a month away from weaning, we also have mama Daisy and her little ones in another foster home, as well as singleton kittens and litters of kittens without their mama who are in need of food.
We very much appreciate if you could help us by donating food which can be found on our Amazon or Renâs Pets wishlist. Donations can also be dropped off in Guelph or Puslinch. Please message for location drop off points.
Mama Yang, Mama Daisy, and the entire DRK family thank you for following us, supporting us, and helping us find forever homes for our kitties. â¤ď¸

Daphne and Ursula have received zero applications since posted for adoption on January 9th! Itâs confounding. Please share these lovely ladies who are unique, lovable, and playful. These two would be an ideal pair and adore one another to bits. They donât like hanging out at Pet Valu but their foster mom is open to meet and greets which can take place once an adoption application has been submitted.
Daphne and Ursula are spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. They are FIV negative and FELV negative. Adoption fee is $300. $500 for a pair. To apply, please submit an adoption application.

Three days after surgery and Flurry canât wait til day ten when she can maybe, finally remove her pesky cone! It really gets in the way of her play sesh!
Flurry Update! Flurry is now back in her foster home, continuing to purr non-stop as is the Flurry way. She made many adoring fans at the clinic today! Sheâs learning how to cope with her very annoying cone, and high stepping when she walks about to attempt to avoid the cone which isnât in her way of walking at all. She remains her lovable self purring the night away. We expect she will quickly learn how to navigate her way around using her other senses. Her foster mom kept her room and all her play toys and bed in exactly the same spot to help ease her transition. Flurryâs even climbed on top of her cat ball stacker to find the ball and bat it around. Once a kitten, always a kitten. Thank you to everyone who asked how she was doing and who sent donations or bought catnip kickers to help alleviate some of her surgery costs! We appreciate this love for Flurry and the rescue so much!
Letâs send Flurry all the good vibes and healing purrs for a successful surgery on Wednesday! She will be undergoing a double enucleation surgery and will officially be an extra special kitty! One who no doubt with rely on her extra senses to keep her foster mom on her toes! Just this week, she discovered a roll of toilet paper left unattended and shredded it and tpâd her room like it was 1982! If youâd like to contribute to Flurryâs surgery costs, you can buy one of her favourite toys, a homemade catnip kicker for $5. Made with the best catnip grown in her foster momâs garden! They are available for pick-up at the rescue! Or you can also e-transfer donations to [email protected] Any amount helps offset the costs of this surgery! Thank you for sending purry Flurry all your well wishes!

Feta may not be with her biological mama right now but sheâs certainly surrounded by love. Essie the dog, is the foster parents resident kitten snuggler and Petey the puppy came from a very similar background as Feta where he lost his mom within the first week of life. Petey is a foster puppy for @ultimuttpetrescue Petey and Essie love Feta and she loves them right back! #peteythepirate #dorsetrescuekittens #fosteringsaveslives #kitten #puppy #animalrescue
Welcoming our first litter of kittens born in care for this year! We werenât joking when we said kitten season was here đ This is our third mama with young babies this week and we have a couple more pregnant mamas in care. This spicy mama arrived last night from @catscrytoou and was only trapped a few days ago. When she arrive last night I said âI wouldnât be surprised if we wake up to babies tomorrowâ. Well, here we are. She had babies this morning. I went over for a visit tonight and had to be extremely careful examining the babies as mama is quite feral. Rescue groups have been trying to catch her for years. She and her 5 babies are safe, warm and well loved in our care.
Have you ever wondered what its like to foster a litter of 8 kittens plus a mum and her singleton kitten? This video was taken this morning at breakfast time.
The litter of 8 black kittens live in a large basement bedroom and mama Brandy and baby Walker have free roam of the upstairs but Walker loves to visit the kittens in the basement. This is their reaction when you come to the door at mealtime.
Just an evening check-in from Poncho and his kittens đĽ°
I blinked and they grew up. With almost 90 kittens in care, we are going through supplies faster than ever. We are in huge need of canned kitten food as well as pee pads. The priority would be canned kitten food! If youâre able to donate through our amazon wish list or call PetValu in Guelph at (519) 837-0868 to put aside an order for Cailey, that would be hugely appreciated!
