Puppy Classes
Our open enrolment puppy program allows you to start as soon as you are ready, and work on age appropriate material at your own pace. We offer classes Sundays, and Mondays at 6pm, so if you miss a class you can make it up the same week, or the week after.

Rally Foundations Course - 6 weeks
Rally Obedience is a fun, fast paced sport designed to test a dog and handler on their ability to work as a team to navigate a course.
Come join us for our next class to learn more about the sport.
Rally foundations covers the obedience skills required to navigate novice rally signs. Sit, down, stand, stay, heel, left finish, right finish, side steps, and pivots. We can cover CARO, or CKC novice signs. At the end of the course, you will be ready to move on to Novice Rally where we start putting the signs together in small courses. Pre-requisites: Level 3 Obedience, or the equivalent. Your dog should have the ability to work in a group class setting on leash.

Everyone is chomping at the bit to see how we use the nail board to tackle the back feet. This takes more training than the front because I can’t tap into the natural digging behaviour. This video shows us about halfway through the training process. Greta is experimenting with the movement, but it isn’t good enough to file her nails yet. Luckily her back nails wear faster naturally, so I am not concerned they will get too long. Hopefully you can see where this is going, and we will post more videos when she gets good at it. Tip: I tilted the board up to get a sliding motion, and angled the board to favour the target paw. The back paws don’t point straight forward so I mirrored the angle that her toes pointed out to get better nail contact. #nailmaintenancefordogs #nailboard #cooperativecaretraining #germanpinscher #edendogacademy
We discovered today that our new friend Greta is afraid of nail clippers so we introduced a scratch board, and problem solved! 😊 #happyterrier #nailmaintenancefordogs #shortnailshappypaws #germanpinscher #edendogacademy

Service Dog Available
Oslo, 2 year old, male, neutered, parti-poodle, UTD on vaccines
- approximately 22 inches tall, and 42lbs
Oslo started service dog training at 10 weeks old, and underwent a year of professional training before placement. He failed his placement after developing dog reactivity. Watch the video to the end for examples of where he is currently at with his recovery. He would make an excellent service dog, and sport dog for a more experienced handler who can continue his training, and stay on top of the dog reactivity.
Obedience: sit, down, stand, left finish, right finish, stay, come, front, heel, eye contact, leave it, place, paw and nose targeting, tuck under chairs, he is crate trained, off leash trained, public access trained, and started in agility and rally-o.
Tasks: deep pressure therapy, retrieves, medical alerts, pressing buttons, momentum pull. He started scent detection, and showed promise, but the task was not completed due to his change in circumstances.
Public Access: Oslo works around other service dogs, and people of all ages/disabilities/ethnicities with ease. New places are not a concern. He has been to malls, grocery stores, medical offices, dog training schools, restaurants, and movie theatres.
He rides buses, escalators, and elevators. He will do any type of stairs.
Other notes:
-Oslo is very loyal and affectionate with his chosen people, but aloof with strangers. He tolerates children but doesn't typically enjoy them, however, there are a few children he has showed a lot of interest in, and will work for them, and ask for attention.
- He gets along with pretty much every dog he meets, but needs a few minutes to get used to them before he wants to play. Dogs that come on too strong will be greeted with barking. Oslo has never shown any indication of doing more than barking when offended, or startled, and he recovers well. He has lived in a multi-dog home his whole life, and trained alongside dozens of other ser
I’m so proud of the hard work this team has put in to learn to heel even with food distractions in a very short time. Well done! #poodlepuppy #servicedogintraining
