Just a peek at the enclosures for our breeders. We want them all to have space and enrichment, and to be part of our living space for regular handling and maintenance!

(*we have space for one more beardie that needs a home*) We would like to introduce some of the reptiles that have been surrendered to us, in the next few posts/stories!! This is Cheech (formerly Bubba) he is around 10 years old, mostly blind and deaf and cannot do anything for himself, but he loves sunbeams, being held, and his Repashy! He will be safe with us for the rest of his time here!
We do not judge anyone who needs to surrender/rehome their animals. Situations change, or maybe it was more work than planned. We understand, and are here to help if needed!

Happy Halloween everyone!! πŸ¦‡πŸ¦‡

Let’s talk Cappuccinos!! Capp is not just a colour, it is a very specific incomplete dominant gene that produces dark melanistic animals!! Not all babies from a true cappuccino will be cappuccino, but they may also look very dark! One of the telltale signs of a true Cappuccino is the β€œV” shape at the base of the tail along with a whiter than usual tail that fades to dark.
