Absolutely! Part of the reason is that your dog’s sense of smell is much better then yours!

🐶 Some have such good noses they can sniff out medical problems.

Do you know some of the benefits that Chickpeas can have for your 🐕 dog?

Chickpeas contain choline, which can help reduce inflammation, assists in nerve impulse transmission, maintains cell membrane structure, and aids in fat absorption, all of which help keep an arthritic pet 🐶 comfortable.

Our Pumpkin & 🥜Peanut Butter treat contains chickpeas flour.

As always, if your dog suffers from any food allergies or intolerances speak with your local vet 🩺 to see if chickpeas would be a good addition to your furbaby’s diet.

Tip: Avoid canned chickpeas as they can be high in 🧂 sodium.

As many of you know, I am Emily, the founder of Mr. French’s Fine Foods. Here is a story of how my passion for making tasty dog 🐩 treats came about.

Over four years ago, my husband and I expanded our family by adding a fabulous french 🐕‍🦺bulldog named Gucci.

As he grew older, we noticed he would have frequent ear👂 😷 infections and would constantly be itching himself.

After several visits to the 🩺vet, they informed us that these issues were due to 🍛food allergies.

We attempted various elimination diets and learned that Gucci was allergic to animal 🍗🥩proteins and was irritated by gluten. He was put on special veterinary food and treats.

One day I began experimenting with foods I already knew he loved such as sweet 🍠potatoes, pumpkin, cheese 🧀 and bananas 🍌 And the rest is history!

Gucci made a full recovery and is back to the vivacious, mischievous Frenchie we all 💙adore.

These treats came out of a place of concern and great love for my furry, four-legged pal and wanting the absolute best for him and his sensitivities.
