The pups have officially all doubled their birthweight ⚖️

And Little Lulu is the first to start opening her eyes 👀

We’ve had lots of little visitors who love giving the puppies the most gentle hugs and kisses 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨 and we’re already seeing in increase in touch tolerance from the pups

Our big dogs are all very curious about them and Autumn has been willing to let them come check them out (from a safe distance)

We’re continuing this week with ENS and ESI. They’ve all had their first nail trim and we are using an electric baby nail file to help prepare them for the nail grinder in the future 💅

We are now exclusively using a product called vet bed in the whelping box. This hygienic, non-irritant, non-allergenic and non-toxic material, keeps pups dry, warm and cozy and most importantly creates increased traction reducing the risk of pups developing hip dysplasia in the future 🩻I just wish i had orderedd a different colour 🤦‍♀️

Lastly we’ve taken our first step in potty training 🚽 by creating a bathroom area in the whelping box. Right now the pups are just exploring the extra space but soon they’ll learn that there’s a specific space to go potty!
