PSA: It's time to debunk the myth that you must wait until your puppy is at least 8 months old to take them to the groomer. The truth is, their coat will change from puppy to adult on its own between 7-14 months, and waiting that long can cause more stress for both parties. Take your puppy for regular baths and tidy's to help them get used to the grooming process.

Wait, what...where did he go?
Sir Orrick was in for his first big groom today! I literally removed 3 pounds of hair (I weighed him before and after)! His dad thought we were pulling a fast one when he came to pick him up...nope..that's your Dood! Hopefully once his adult coat is all in, he can be grown out out again. Super sweet boy either way!

Here's your daily reminder to brush those doods!

Let's avoid that matting and the doodle sterio type of "doodles are always matted" we got this! You got this! 5 min is all it takes to brush your doodle. Make sure your getting right to the skin. Line brush if you need to. Or if you are unsure how you should be brushing or what brush to be using reach out anytime. Or feel free during a grooming appointment upon pickup to ask some questions or ask for a demonstration. I as your specialist in doodle grooming am always open to helping you keep your dood tidy!
