Such an odd bunch of friends…all so different, yet get along perfectly. Lula the horse, Aster the pineapple/mini donkey, Clover the Scottish Highland cow and Pirate the mini pony ( behind with his head buried in hay). We can learn a lot from the animal world ❤️

Super busy at the farm the past couple days! We hosted a Farm Tour, Birthday Party and trucked a menagerie of our feathered and furry friends to the Pictou Ex for their Haunted Barn event. Huge thank you to Mandy, Petra, Josie, Callum, Nathan and Daryl for all your help…couldn’t do it without you. Special thanks to all our critters that were super stars for their first road trip! Also, a huge shout out to Katie Giles and Jennifer Jenz Biz Johnstone, and all their team at the Haunted Barn for being so awesome, so organized and accommodating!!

Birthday Parties and Special Events!

Are you looking for a super, fun packed farm adventure for your child’s birthday? Games, pony rides and interactive learning with all sorts of furry, feathered and scaled friends.

How about a little work retreat for you and some of your colleagues? Experience some great animal therapy with various small and large animals. Nothing like having a baby goat fall asleep in your lap, or snuggles from a baby donkey.

Part time Stablehand Position!!

We are looking for a motivated, reliable individual to commit to working approximately 3 hours per day, 5 days per week. The days are flexible. Duties include horse turnout, stall cleaning, hay/feed/water, small animal care, etc. Should have some experience with horses. PM for details

Donkey and Goat Adventures!!

We are now offering Animal Assisted Therapy sessions with our many furry ‘Therapists’. Maybe you’re looking for some quiet grooming and snuggle time with our little herd of donkeys…or maybe you’d like to interact and watch the silly antics of our baby goats. Great opportunity to put away life’s stresses for awhile and spend time with the animals that neither judge nor comment. They have the uncanny ability to just listen, without speaking.

We are booking 30 min sessions with either our donkey herd or the goat herd, beginning June 1st.

$20 for 1 person
$15 for each additional person (max 4 in a group)

And another Nigerian Dwarf goat! Meet Obi-wan Kenobi! Obi for short! This little guy is super friendly and will lay in your lap for snuggles. Mini, the barn cat, is trying to be his friend. She wiggles her mischievous way into everyone’s hearts!

Nigerian Dwarf goats!! Meet Princess Leia and Chewbacca…Leia and Chewy for short! They have green ears because they were recently tattooed and it will wear off…I hope! These sweet and silly kids love attention, being cuddled and climbing all over you!
