Four Paws at the Ready
At Four Paws Ready Inn, we believe that a personal approach is key. We aren’t just kennel owners, we are animal lovers. We have over 15 years experience caring for animals of all different temperaments and needs, and the most important lesson we have learned in all those years is that every animal is different.
At our facility we provide a cozy home-away-from-home for your pets where we focus on their safety and enjoyment of their time with us. We believe that when you board your pet they shouldn’t spend their whole day looking at cages and laying around, but also that for your pets feelings of security they need to have a space of their own. We base our play schedule on the weather, in the warm seasons dogs spend hours outside in our fully fenced play yards with shade, grass, and play pools to mix with our other guests. In winter months we take them outside at least 6 times a day to burn as much energy as possible without allowing them to become uncomfortable. All outdoor mixed play time is fully supervised by experienced professionals who focus on the comfort of all dogs in our care.
Each individual run has a raised pallet for sleeping on, radiant heat to keep the chills away, and an outdoor patio to hang out in and visit with neighboring dogs when the weather is good. Clients are encouraged to bring their pets favorite bedding, toys, or treats to make them feel the most comfortable. Sleeping quarters are not shared, so your dog will feel secure in their own space with the familiar elements of their homes.
Cats who board with us each have their own private condo for sleeping, eating and resting in. They are checked on often to have their litter box cleaned, top-up their water and food dishes and if they so desire can have a little game or have a bit of combing/brushing if they allow.
