To celebrate Lainey's first birthday, we are happy to announce that Red Shepherd Homemade Dog Treats will now be making Birthday Cakes!! 🎉🎂

It's only fitting that our first flavour should be Lainey's favourite, Peanut Butter Banana!

Cakes can be customized with different flavours, including:
-Peanut butter
-Banana
-Pumpkin
-Blueberry
-Strawberry

Add your dog's favourite Red Shepherd Homemade Dog Treat to the cake as decoration! As shown in the photos, our Peanut Butter Drizzle Bones make a great addition to the cake!

Today is the last day to order our Easter Treat Baskets!!!

Each box of treats contains:
4 Decorated Peanut Butter Eggs 🐣
3 Colourful Peep Bunnies 🐰
2 Carrot Cake Carrots 🥕

As always, our treats are made with all-natural ingredients. We never use any artificial colours, preservatives or flavours.

To obtain the vivid colouring of our treats, we have used ingredients such as:
- Turmeric (Yellow) which contains anti-inflammatory properties and can help support joints💛
- Beets (Red) which are beneficial to a dog's skin and coat❤️
- Spinach (Green) which is a source of fibre, vitamins and minerals to help boost your dog's immune system💚

Here at Red Shepherd, we have been working hard for the last couple of weeks creating new Easter-themed recipes and perfecting them for your furry friend! All our treats are taste-tested and approved by Red Shepherd's Dolly and Lainey.

With the Valentine's season coming to an end, we're saying goodbye to our seasonal Beet Hearts and hello to an all-new flavour✨

Pumpkin Blueberry Treats are now available! 🫐🎃

Just a friendly reminder to check the ingredients in your dogs treats. What some people don't know is that some dog treat brands contain dangerous preservatives and ingredients that can be doing more harm to your dog than good!

BHT and BHA are commonly used to extend the shelf life of dog treat products, but have been discovered as known carcinogens in both animals and humans.

Nitrates can be used as a preservative in dog treats. High consumption of nitrates can cause blood disorders in dogs.

Corn syrup and added sugars can be linked to development of diabetes and obesity. Dental issues have also been linked to high consumption rates of sugars.

Rendered fats are typically used in the production of dog treats to enhance the flavour to make them more desireable to dogs. They contain high levels of toxins and can be a host for molds and bacterias.

At Red Shepherd Dog Treats, we never use any added preservatives, flavours, or colours. Only the best simple and fresh ingredients are used to keep our dogs happy and healthy!

Meet the girls behind Red Shepherd Dog Treats ❤️🐾

Dolly is a 5-month-old Red Merle Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd Mix. She is an extremely sweet and friendly dog who hasn't met a person, or other dog, that she hasn't liked. Dolly's recent digestive issues and sensitive stomach were the reasons behind the creation of Red Shepherd Dog Treats. These treats were made with gentle ingredients so that Dolly could still enjoy them with her sister while keeping her happy and healthy. Every one of our treats is Dolly-approved ✅

Lainey is a 9-month-old Red Merle Australian Shepherd who loves to explore and stay active. Her favourite activities include playing fetch and running laps around her sister, Dolly. She is always excited to meet new dog friends and show them how fast she is. When it comes to treats, Lainey has never been known to discriminate. But with Red Shepherd, we know that Lainey is getting the best ingredients to keep her refueled for the day!
