Save on your pet licenses in January!

Pet licenses are valid from January 1 to December 31 and must be purchased annually. 2025 pet licenses are on sale now. Register your pet before the end of January and save!

Pet licenses assist bylaw and animal control officers to quickly confirm an animal’s identity and help locate its owner.
FEES
During the months of December 2024 and January 2025:
- Spayed/Neutered Pets $20
- Non-spayed/Non-neutered Pets $40

All other times of the year:
- Spayed/Neutered Pets $30
- Non-spayed/Non-neutered Pets $50

Failing to obtain a dog or cat license can result in a penalty of $115 for the first offence and $230 for the second. Additional penalties may be imposed if a collar/tag is not worn.
