Founded in 1966, Alvesta Farm is a Section A & B Welsh Pony breeding program. We aim to breed quality, true-to-type ponies with the temperament, conformation, and movement to excel across disciplines. We currently stand four stallions:

When you’re multi-talented… 8-yr-old Welsh Section B gelding, Alvesta Sedona (Llanarth Tarquin x Alvesta Fairy Lustre by Cadlanvalley Pirate). Always love updates of Ayla and her pony. Here they are at North Peace Fall Fair, placing in hunter, jumper, dressage, and costume—and even winning the 2’3” jumping class against much older kids. We hear he was a star. Big thanks to Katrina for sharing.

We’re grateful to have full sister, Silver Lustre, and half siblings, Caelia, Fairy Lore, Naiya, and Angelina… yup, our program is closely related.

Just love this pair. Our Alvesta Helios daughter, Alvesta Caelia, with her filly, Calypso, sired by Thistledown Arctic Lore. We’re convinced this is the sweetest, most gentle filly out there. What a gem.

Our Welsh Mountain Pony 3-yr-olds: Alvesta Gwynevere, Coyote Run Moonstone, and Hoekhorst Eleri. They also enjoyed long walks and a little obstacle course this past weekend—such sweet, clever girls.
