Did you know Poodles have hair not fur?

Poodles have hair, not fur. While most dogs have fur, poodles are one of a handful of breeds that are considered to have hair. Poodles only have a single layer coat that does not shed, making them a hypoallergenic breed.

Turmeric dosages for dogs.

Start slow when you first start giving your dog turmeric. It is recommended that you give your dog one-fifth of the recommended dosage, based on their weight, and then gradually increase the dose after that until you have reached the maximum dose. The full dosage recommended for dogs is 15 to 20 mg of turmeric per pound of body weight. That is roughly ¼ teaspoon for every 10 pounds.

Meet Jake

Jake is a Standard Poodle, and such a pretty boy.
He is so goofy and always makes us laugh. When has been caught doing something wrong, he does a sideways shaming lip curl. He is just so sweet he can’t contain his guilt.
Watch the video to see his shame face!

Meet Ruby

Ruby is the youngest of our pack at only 13 weeks old.

We are still getting to know her personally, so far she has shown us that she is super independent and not scared of anything! She is curious about her surroundings and always tries to keep up with the other dogs in the pack!!

Ruby is a cross between a Wheaten Terrier and a Poodle, making her a Whoodle.

Ginger

Yes, dogs can eat ginger in small amounts. It’s non-toxic and considered safe for them to eat.

Ginger comes in a variety of forms: powder, pill, tincture, tea and raw root. To administer in raw form, you should cut off the skin and finely mince the yellow part of the root.

• Give ½ teaspoon for dogs under 35 Ibs & ¾ for larger dogs.
• Can be mixed in with their food.
• Always start slow and gradually add into their routine.
