Happy 2nd Birthday to Piper and Bear's VERY first litter (from Mama Piper and Uncle Moose)! We got a lovely picture from Miss Betty Buttons... Any other OG pups out there? :) :) :)

So why are these pups so sleepy? Because they visited both Elementary and Middle School today. 🥰 And why, Tamara, are there no photos of THAT? BECAUSE I FORGOT... Boooo... I think *I* need some more sleep, lol! Since our video of "our pups are so good, they wait for us to wake up before making noise" they have moved up their wake-up time to the late 5's... Just goes to show - never brag, folks, never brag. I should have known better. 😁

These little fluffballs got a wonderful bath tonight thanks to my long-suffering hubby, and dried off and shuttled to and from the bathroom thanks to our awesome kiddos... 😅

Our puppies have been surprising (in a good way) first thing in the morning... we have had other litters who would start "singing" at 5:00am, but this crew... well... just check it out! 😊

Uncle Moose is in all his glory these days! He LOVES playing with the pups. 😄 He's about 13 pounds fully grown, and the pups are edging towards ten pounds at six weeks, so they're pretty evenly matched these days :) (and you can see regal Mama Piper in the background... 🥰)

These pups are so sweet! They are loving trying out new food, but also happy when Mama comes back to them too. 🥰 Born April 19th in Kelowna, BC

Goodness, we are silly around here - we just remembered it was Mama Piper's birthday today! Thankfully I had some burgers in the fridge to help her celebrate. 🥰 Puppies moved out of our daughter's room this past weekend, and they even tried a little food today... Tomorrow - we begin potty training! Happy Birthday, Piper! 🥳

These tired cuties are two weeks old today! I managed to catch them ALL yawning yesterday, and two (maybe more) started opening their eyes yesterday as well. Big day! 🥰

Yesterday was a red-letter day! I (Tamara) called home to check on my Middle School son who was home sick, and all I hear is "PUPPIES!!! MOM! PUPPIES! RIGHT NOW!" Literally EXACTLY as I called, he heard the first puppy yelping. I was at our daughter's school already, and so I RACED through the halls, quickly explained to her poor, confused substitute teacher through garbled words that puppies were coming and I needed to take my daughter right away (basically "PUPPIES! SELAH! COME! NOW! SORRY, I'M SELAH'S MOM), and we ZOOMED home! My hubby also zoomed home, being closer, and both of us worried that our son would be panicking, or might not know what to do (he's 12 and a wonderful, caring kid, but you put panic on a situation, and you never know how any of us might react). As hubby walks in, our son nonchalantly says "So, did you hear? Puppies are here! I picked the first one up off the carpet in your room and brought her to the whelping box and made sure she was breathing." YAY, TRISTAN!!! Piper did great, and we ended up with a sweet little litter of Greek Mythology Characters, appropriately named by their hero, Tristan. In birth order: Artemis, Aphrodite, Athena, and Zeus.
