Sophie is an energetic and curious 2 year old French Bulldog. She is incredibly sweet and loving. Her favorite things to do are snuggling, enrichment dog puzzles, exploring, going for walks, and more snuggling. You'd better check before laying on the bed or sitting on a couch blanket because she may have buried herself right in to be a cozy as possible! She is very smart and learns quickly, although she is a bulldog so can be very stubborn. There will be some resistance if you try to make her do something she doesn't like. For example, she doesn't like her feet being touched or getting into her pet pyjamas (once she has them on she's quite happy as she likes being warm and cozy).

Unfortunately, she doesn't get along well with other animals as she likes to have all the attention, so she would be best in a home where she is the only pet. We have a 3 year old French Bulldog and we brought Sophie in as a companion for her. They don't always get along and the fights between them are aggressive and scary. We have an 11 year old son at home and don't want him to get hurt. She is great with him and very loving, never aggressive towards him when alone, but trouble starts when the other dog comes near them.

It breaks our heart to re-home Sophie, but at this point we think it's best for her to be with a family that loves her as much as we do, where she can be the only pet and get all the love for herself.

To help us ensure she is going to a home where she will be well-taken care of, we are asking for a $500 rehoming fee.

Saying goodbye to Sadie and Bailey as they crossed over to the rainbow bridge. We are truly grateful to people who open their homes to love a rescue dog. They can sometimes be a little more work but they are worth it.

Sadie came to us before we even started Auntie Ms and then Bailey was the one who inspired it all. He showed us that there were more options than euthanasia and he showed us what was possible with balanced training, right situations and so much love. It’s not fair life sometimes and I wish they could love forever.

You will be so missed and you were both so loved. I am glad we could save you from people and I’m sorry we couldn’t save you from life itself ❤️

To endless pup cups, ball chasing, belly rubs and eternal snuggles. Thank you both for the lessons you taught us all. RIP sweet souls

We will continue to honour them by showing people what is possible and despite the BCSPCA and Vets saying if medication doesn’t work then behavioral euthanasia is the only options. We will remember that the “experts” forgot to evolve with the times, forget that every dog is different and forget that with a knowledgeable balanced trainer anything is possible.

I think Conan (big white husky) asked if he could stay in our family as he’s really made his way in there but this guy would do so well in an active experienced home. He loves adventures and being outside he also loves to be inside with you petting him at all times. He’s a big boy but thinks he’s just a little lap dog. He’s a super ham, a little spicy and will be your best friend. He’s also a husky so everyday is just a little different on the listening scale. He’s gets along with dogs, hasn’t been around cats but can definitely smell them out. He needs a home with no kids as he’s a big strong boy and someone who can be a strong leader as he will try and be at the top DOG. Hes a lot of the best kind of personality and if you are interested please send us a message you will not be sorry!

All this goodest boy wants for Christmas is a family to call his own where is is the only animal cause he wants all the attention to himself (and also he don’t like them and honestly we don’t like most people so we do feel him honestly)

He’s such a lover of all people, balls and food. He will look to you for guidance and honestly just wants to love. Brodie has been with us far too long in and out of fosters at no fault of his own but he’s just desperate to find his forever.

We know him needing a home to himself is a lot to ask as most of us have other animals but I know his perfect home with a family and a yard of his own awaits. Please share until Brodie’s forever home is found.

Santa If your reading this please bring Brodie a family of him own for Christmas

No condo living for Brodie, no animals and must have a yard.

He is up to date on vaccines, house trained, kennel trained, neutered and move in ready.

We also do foster to adopt first so you can take your time with him to make sure it’s a right fit no need to commit we will provide food and supplies if your bring the love and willing to learn with him on what he needs to be successful in his dog life.

👏👏👏👏Even if they did the “extra” schooling to be a “behavioralist” in fact I think those are worse cause there isn’t many of them and they are so dangerous to dogs with behavioral issues cause medicate, medicate more medication oh that didn’t work your dog needs to be put down

As we have a certain unhinged local veterinarian currently losing their mind on social media regarding dog training, we would like to remind everybody that a veterinarian is not a dog trainer, and a dog trainer is not a veterinarian.

We are seeing WAY too many veterinarians not staying in their lane and belittling, shaming and giving advice on dog training - which is not their area of expertise. Just recently put up a great post with a veterinarian giving horrible advice on how to break up a dog fight and if most people listened to that advice, especially those with latching power breeds, there would be more dog and human injuries. Please listen to the experts in the field that you are looking for advice on.

You wouldn't go to your electrician to get plumbing advice, you wouldn't go to your dentist to get optometry advice, so stop listening to your veterinarian about training tools and techniques.

Lots of lost dogs these days so great tip when you do find one.

Thank you to all that helped, Zoe is now home safe!! If you ever come across a lost dog please do not yell or call out or chase the pup as this often makes them run further! Try sitting on the ground making no eye contact so you are not a threat to the lost dog! If you can keep eyes on from a distance until the owner can get there 🐾♥️

Guess what goodest girl is OFFICIALLY ADOPTED??
That’s right our sweet PIPER. I don’t think I’ve ever encountered a soul as sweet as hers to be honest. She’s one of a kind. Rescuing her and her sibling was a little out of our mandate but I am so happy we were able to help.

Thank you to her family for loving her so much and for taking in a rescue dog in what some consider black and plain ❤️❤️❤️
