When I brought Storm home she has a huge jumping problem. This problem thankfully easy to solve by teaching her where it was appropriate to jump.

Moose was my first rescue, foster and re home.

I was scrolling through Facebook when I saw a post about someone who just recently adopted a dog but he was too scared to go down the stairs of her apartment to go outside... He was inside for two days straight... I got in contact with the people who placed him in the home and they came down right away to help.
I then found out this guy was 7 years old, he was just dropped off from a neighboring farm to a ladies door with his brother... The lady kept the brother bc he wasn't in very good shape. He had masses in his throat from eating too much bread. Ear infections, eating issues. He was a mess. Moose on the other hand had a severe double ear infection and looked like he was attacked by something from behind.

This for an older dog he has never seen a collar let alone leash, he had never eaten dog food, had ZERO idea how to play with medium to large dogs since his brother was a Jack Russell mix. While I had moose we got his ears under control, his scratch marks looked at, learned how to walk on a leash, how to sit and how to play with other dogs. After about a year I finally found a wonderful home for him.

He was adopted by a sweet older lady who lived on a decent size property, right across from a school, he had cat siblings he absolutely loved. She use to send messages all the time about how much he lived to run up to the kids and get all the attention, how he made best friends with the neighbors dog. Unfortunately she fell very ill and passed away of cancer recently. He and his siblings are still very much loved by her family.
