In honour of the has been started this year to make donations in Betty’s memory today, on what would have been her 100th birthday.

Betty was a advocate for animal rights and worked tirelessly to be the voice for our animal friends.

Today we have made a small donation to three of our favourite animal charities in Betty’s name. Every dollar helps, even a donation of $5 can make a difference.

Having a rescue dog ourselves we know the love that every animal can bring. They deserve proper care, compassion, and love.

Done by hand every step of the way!

All of our treats are baked from scratch in small batches, our bags are hand stickered and bagged, and then sent out with a smile!

Olive oil is a rich ingredient that has benefits for humans and dogs alike, it has even been known to have benefits for your dog's immune system.

We get our olive oil from The Kingston Olive Oil Company, and fun fact, both owners of Bag of Treats have worked there at one point or another, so it’s a place close to our hears!

Here’s our friend Harley enjoying an olive oil flax treat!

If you have a senior pup or a dog who would prefer a softer treat we would recommend the olive oil flax flavour. The olive oil brings healthy benefits but also allows this treat to be soft, crumbly, and easy to chew!

Our balms are great to keep your pups nose and paws hydrated and soft every day, especially as the chilly days arrive.

We’ve even been using the balm on our own dog’s sore tail and we’ve really been able to see a difference!

We’ve been crazy busy with our personal lives and have missed a few Dog of the Month giveaways SO coming up in November we’re going to have TWO winners!

All you have to do is tag us in a picture of your pup with our treats. It can be them eating a treat, have the bag in the photo, be creative!

We will announce the winners during the last week of November so stay tuned! If you win, you will receive a free Bag of Treats! We will mail them or deliver them to you if you’re local!

We use brown rice as part of the foundation for all of our varieties of treats. It brings lots of benefits and vitamins including vitamin B and D which are beneficial to good heart health.
