Huge shout out to this lady! Emmy came for her first nail trim with me two weeks ago and it was, well, wild. Huge stress, a lot of bouncing and flailing, I honestly wasn’t sure I was even going to get them done. She finally settled and de stressed and I was able to finish. Her owner and I set up a training plan to help her work through this and he brought her back in today to just do some table work and foot handling. After a few foot touches and treats, she is nearly miraculously a perfect nail trim dog!
A little patience goes a long way. I have many behavioural case grooms/nails that I do. Dogs that no one else could handle. Some come around quickly, some take longer. But in the end, patience and treats pays off.

Quinn the Aussie joined the group today and I put his puppy level 2 skills to the test. Great job Shadow and Quinn, and Logan too.
Group stay and release. Posting mostly because I love my commentary. Ranger gsd pup is simply tired and laying with the group. Shadow the mini Aussie has only completed puppy level 1 and has not worked stays with distraction, but she offered a down stay so I went with it. Good job everyone!

Elka the golden is a timid girl, so being in such close proximity to the others while standing on the scary stool is a huge accomplishment for her! Max had his first play today and rocked it. And Sprint is talented and greedy haha.
