Hello everyone, some sad news has led to a lot of research and a new idea. Our dog Phoenix (the one in the profile pic) has just been diagnosed with kidney disease. His diet now has to take a drastic change to keep his 14 year old body as healthy as possible.
We are now experimenting, and will soon have treats for dogs with CKD. Of course the treats will be a yummy addition for any dog though!
A lot of dogs, possibly most dogs in their elder years will have kidney issues and have to go on very restrictive diets. We are hoping our treats will give them a little more variety, energy, and excitement while helping extend their time.
