How do we stay cool in the heat? Many of my dogs I sit have thick coats so it's very important to me to keep them cool but also make sure they are getting their daily excerize!
1. We plan our walks around the weather, usually in early morning or late evening for a longer walk and at noon a short walk.
2. We keep hydrated! Water is very important so we make sure to always have water accessible!
3. We take breaks, pace ourselves and walk in shady areas/avoid hot pavement! The grass keeps cooler and shaded areas are nice resting spots to sit if we feel tired.

Hi Everyone!

My name is Shannon, I've been an animal lover all my life and have taken care of dogs since I could walk! I adore my animals, and like many of you, they are my life but I know that sometimes we have a life outside of our furbabies and how hard it can be to find a reliable and trusting pet sitter.

I love giving my son the chance to appreciate animals as I did growing up and getting to interact with so many beautiful pets.
