I did grooming introductions to that funny 4 month old, already pretty big, Portuguese water dog puppy...he was fascinated with my cleaning equipment...I gave him a light trim because his parents want him fluffy. There's always something to learn. Today I learned that those dogs helping Portuguese fisherman and herding fish...who would guess?

Baby Bichon and Poodle mix...cut off a lot of hair off him but he still looks a bit rough because he did not grow his adult hair yet...to show his mama that the job was done properly I combed his hair backwards to show that they were the same length...soft and adorable pup...

This young lady came for a trim...she was pretty good but you could see she was worried about something...then I find out she is a new mother...I have seen a few pictures of her babies, they are adorable...BTW the are for sale...if you're interested let me know and I will connect you with the owner.

Mindy and Darcy are back...they wanted some make up for their 6th birthday party today...mama making a special cake for them...I wish it was my birthday and somebody made a cake for me too...

It was a very busy month. 38 dogs!...ahhh, 37 to be exact. One of them was a Great Dane with the nails one inch long...no kidding...adopted, neglected dog...poor thing. I started shortening his nails and he showed me his tooth that was one inch long as well...seriously...then I thought I would not dare to continue...
I still taken new clients.

Two days in a row dogs are coming for short haircuts...in the winter?...I am so sorry to give it to them but their parents want it for different reasons...matted, unmanageable hair, etc. They're gonna be OK because they have warm jackets.

This is Syrah...Labradoodle...sooo big, I mean for my salon...she boes not fit the tub I have but mama washed her home and brought her to me wet...when I dried her she was a big fluff of hair...not for a long time though so because of dump air. Somehow here air kept their shape. Actually it was a reason she came to me today, to shorten the ears and pedicure.

A couple days ago I was grooming a tiny Yorkie. Accidentally I hurt him with the Clippers. Cut his very fine skin a bit. The poor doggie was not happy. I feel so bad it is difficult to imagine. But it happens to every groomer on their way to perfection. I am very sorry. I needed to get it out of my soul and share it with you.

This scruffy little lady came for a short haircut...I have to make sure that she has a winter jacket...she was a fighter...anything that made a bzzzbbbzzzz sound was attacked...I even called her a soldier...

One more adorable pup...Cavapoo...I love my job...I would not even call it a job...it is please, satisfaction, joy, passion. I did so many things in my life...this is the best one...if I only knew I would start grooming from my toddler age.
