It's getting real!

Microchips are here which means individual registrations are next 🥹

Vet check this upcoming weekend. We hold puppies for several days after their vet exam to monitor and make sure there's no reactions and then off to their new lives! 🥹💕

Home pairings are happening soon and shortly after the first pups will head off. 🥹

This is always the bitter sweet point of puppy raising. Lots to do in these last few weeks to have them ready for their new adventures.

And YES, we have availability left!

We've gone ahead and cleared our stockpiled wait-list.

Those of which have not been in contact with us since before April have been removed and will be required to resubmit their application should they wish to move forward with a puppy.

Those of which that have contacted us or previously informed us of a litter preference remain on the wait-list.

We heavily appreciate those that take a few seconds out of their busy lives to let us know if they need to be removed from our list, no matter the reason.

Anyone removed is welcome to reapply.

Our website has been touched up. We moved a few things around, made the colours/contrast easier on the eyes and added resources for those looking into the breed, including an entire page dedicated to the Canadian Standard.

We're not done our updates but it's a start.

We have some availability left on The Pizza litter.

We have evaluations happening over the next little bit by neutral sources for temperament.

We have Shadanatam Belgian Shepherds advising us as well and weighing in on placements due to their knowledge and experience of being a breeder within the breed since 1996.

Home pairings should be happening soon as well.

Half sibling to our litter and a very accomplished puppy so far.

At 6 months old, He took home 2 Best Puppy in Groups during his first show weekend.

At 7 months old, he passed his herding instinct.

At 8 months old, he took to the Sprinters field like he's been running it his whole life.

We adore this boy and are very excited to see his future. Thank you so much Shadanatam Belgian Shepherds for sharing him with us.

😍 Loving how this boy is maturing. He's unfortunately oversized for the show ring but he's making his mark in sports with ease.

Bisou has a personal best of 7.57 seconds (48/kmh) in Sprinters and is working on figuring out the bitey world.

Owner Ash-leigh has done an amazing job with him and allowing him to mature.

Congrats to Ash-leigh and Bisou on their new title! Bisou upgraded his Novice Sprinters title to Sprinter!

Bisou completed his second sprinter title with a new fastest time of 7.570 second which clocks him in at 48km/hr in the 100 meter dash. Wow!

We're honestly honored at the amount of show home inquiries this litter is receiving but we want to address something.

Not every single puppy is going to be show quality.
We'd be lying to ourselves and you if we claimed 11 puppies from a single litter were what we would want in the show ring.

We won't know who's show quality until closer to the 8 week mark. We won't know how many of either male or female prospects there will be.

So with that said, Sport and Active pet homes are encouraged to join the wait-list. We're not closed to show homes entirely yet either.

These guys are confident and sassy. They take challenges head on and let their opinions be heard.

We're so proud of our feral dog and can't thank her handler enough for the time and energy she's put into her.

Bird will be taking a semi-retirement from showing to try out Sprinters and work towards some herding titles but this isn't the last you'll see of her in the show ring!

We've introduced mush!

10 outta 11 puppies think mush is amazing and filled themselves up on it. A few topped up with a nurse from momma.

We found the puppies that aren't gaining as much as the largest puppies of the litter were really enjoying it.

Momma finished off the remains and now everyone is out cold. 🥰

Versatile!

That's the keyword with this litter. Workinglines meet functional showlines to create stable and balanced dogs that can go many directions.

With dogs in their pedigree titled with Conformation, Herding, Agility and IPO3/IGP3 plus way more!

Don't let the Terv side of their pedigree scare you away as they have a beautiful lineage behind them including an IPO3 titled Terv among many other fantastically proven dogs.

Each lineage is known for longevity.

Our litter will be evaluated by Hollenhund K9 Inc. and Angrand k9 around the 7 week mark and then paired to their placements.

Half siblings from the dam have gone on to be excellent sprinters dogs, a Confo champion, a service dog and even a security dog.

Half siblings from the sire are known for their stellar temperaments, stellar structure with beautiful instincts.

3 of the 4 top Belgian puppies in Canada are related either by being a half sibling or a cousin through the sires Littermate.

These puppies have a lot of potential to go the extra mile and we have extremely limited space left.

Deworming Protocol 🪱

How do we tackle wormings here?

We start worming the puppies at 2 weeks old. From there they get bi-weekly worming;

- 2 weeks
- 4 weeks
- 6 weeks
- 8 weeks

Our usual choice of wormer is Strongid-T for 2-6 weeks and then interceptor plus (or similar) at 8 weeks.

We take worming seriously as worms can cause damage to organs, stunt growth, illness and in serious cases, death. We want to ensure you're taking home a healthy puppy with no worries so this is just one of the many steps we take to ensure that.
