Looking back on this past year, I’m reminded of all the moments—big and small—that have shaped me. 2024 was a year of immense growth, both personally and professionally. For the first time, I truly prioritized working on myself, and it’s been transformative. I feel blessed to be where I am in my career, with my passion for emergency medicine only growing stronger each day.

2024 also taught me just how fragile and precious life is. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: life’s too short not to smile, laugh, and savor every moment.

To everyone who’s been part of my journey—thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support means everything to me. Here’s to new adventures, continued growth, and making every moment count in 2025. Happy New Year, fam! 🐾

This year Duke won the Christmas spirit award by a landslide🎅😂

Merry christmas and happy holidays to all of you! It’s better late than never eh? Here are some cute snapshots of our Christmas night that I couldn’t keep all to myself. I am beyond blessed to have this little family, and all of YOU who have been part of my journey.

Stay tuned for a new years post 🤣

Happy 8th birthday to our adoptive big baby. He may talk like walrus and even look like a bear, but he is the gentlest of giants. We are so blessed to have Zeus in our lives! Our family wouldn’t be the same without him. We celebrated with puppy ice creams and a birthday cookies 🎂 🥳

Always ready for the unexpected – 5 essentials I bring to work as an emergency vet:

1. Stethoscope: My trusted tools, the and stethoscopes, are always by my side.

2. Laptop & Phone: My products are a must-have for accessing notes, medical records, or simply having an extra screen to manage the endless tabs I have open during a shift. I use the .vet app and website every single day!

3. MiniVET Guide: The ultimate quick reference for emergency medicine – huge shoutout to & for creating this lifesaver.

4. Extra Scrubs: An additional pair of scrubs and surgery caps because, in emergency medicine, you truly never know what’s going to happen.

5. Everyday Extras: Measuring tape, fine-tip pens, highlighters, calculator, water bottle, snacks, and headphones – all the essentials for writing detailed records and staying fueled during long shifts.

Is anyone else in vetmed a magnet for street dogs when they travel?

The word got out that I give some pretty good belly rubs, which turned into having a line of clients patiently waiting for their rubs 🥰

My first shift back from vacation and I got to do my first emergency C-section & ovariohysterectomy on this first-time Frenchie mama!

It was a smooth surgery, 5 puppies were expected and 5 puppies survived! Mom recovered quickly and started nursing her babies asap. Pups and mom were discharged next day 🫡

Surgery lasted 1.5 hrs, and yes I’m damn proud of that! No better feeling than helping to bring life into this world.

Shoutout to my incredible team for EVERYTHING. ily

DID YOU KNOW?

More than 80% of French bulldog litters are born by C-section. While it’s sometimes possible for French bulldogs to give birth naturally, it’s not recommended because of the high risk of complications.

Wild right?! If you plan to own a bully breed plan for this…or simply spay your dogs.

Scroll to meet the mama and her pups 🫶🏼
