Not all pups are natural swimmers. Before heading to the water:

✔️ Supervise them at all times
✔️ For unconfident swimmers, use a well fitted doggy life vest
✔️Rinse their fur after swimming to remove chlorine or bacteria

What is Parvovirus❓
▪ Parvovirus is a highly contagious disease that attacks white blood cells and the gastrointestinal tract of dogs and puppies. Those most at risk include puppies, senior dogs, unvaccinated dogs, and immunocompromised dogs.

How can you prevent it❓
▪ The best prevention is vaccination. Is you dog up to date on their vaccines? If the answer is no, or you aren't sure, call or email us today.

What to do if your dog becomes infected❓
▪ If your dog or puppy is showing any symptoms including lethargy, vomiting, severe diarrhea, fever, abdominal pain and bloating, contact a veterinarian immediately.
