Voici un exemple parfait de posture de chien qui t'indique de changer de direction 😅

Un chien figé, qui te fixe, la gu**le fermée, surtout avec sa meute = non seulement tu changes de bord de rue, mais change de direction ! Ne courent surtout pas, car cela va fortement activer la prédation chez le chien. S'ils sont 3, ils vont encore plus être motivés de te courir après, car l'un influence l'autre 😬

En les apercevant, tu t'arrêtes, tu te retournes sans rien dire et tu quittes leur champ de vision, lentement et en douceur. C'est tout ce qu'ils demandent, en réalité.

En général, un chien va te montrer plein de signaux d'inconfort avant de se sentir obliger t'attaquer.

Here's a perfect example of a dog posture that tells you to change direction 😅

A frozen dog, staring at you with its mouth closed, especially with its pack = not only do you change sides of the street, but change direction! Above all, do not run, because this will strongly activate predation in the dog. If there are 3 of them, they will be even more motivated to chase you, because one influences the other 😬

When you see them, you stop, you turn around without saying anything and you leave their sight, slowly and gently. That's all they're asking, really.

In general, a dog will show you lots of signals of discomfort before feeling compelled to attack you.

Daisy 🤩 magnifique chien qui a trouvé un maître dévoué et assidû dans ses entraînements 💪 nous avons fait de l'obéissance et maintenant nous travaillons sur l'anxiété de séparation. Toujours un très gros défi cette problématique 🤯

Les chiens du nord 🤩 Voici un chien avec aucun instinct de survie 😂 je marchais dans la rue et il est venu se coucher devant moi comme ça.

J'ai vu seulement 2 chiens se faire attaquer par d'autres chiens dans le nord dont celui-ci.

Dans les 2 attaques, ce sont des chiens avec des signes de faiblesse qui ont été agressés (l'autre avait une patte cassée 😢).

Dans les 2 attaques, il n'y a eu aucun élément déclencheur autre qu'une faiblesse apparente.

A l'état sauvage, c'est la loi du plus fort.

I saw only 2 dogs being attacked by other dogs in the north including this one.

During the 2 attacks, dogs with signs of weakness were targeted (the other had a broken paw 😢).

In both attacks, there were no triggers other than apparent weakness.

In the wild, it is the law of the strongest.

Bella 🤩 dossier qui s'enlignait difficile (même que la famille ne venait plus à la maison) et qui s'est réglé en 1 rencontre. C'est très rare des résultats aussi rapides !

Bella sautait sur les gens. Elle m'a déchiré un chandail d'ailleurs.

Nous avons appliqué un système assez simple (attacher Bella à la rampe d'escalier dès qu'elle démontre une intention de sauter).

En moins d'un mois toute la famille pouvait revenir (les enfants surtout 😅).

Bella 🤩 case that was difficult (even the family no longer came to the house) and which was settled in 1 meeting. It's very rare to get such quick results!

Bella was jumping on people.
She tore one of my sweater on the way.

We applied a fairly simple system (tie Bella to the stair railing as soon as she shows an intention to jump).

In less than a month the whole family could come back (especially the children 😅).

Les chiens du nord 😍 du 20 au 26 février c'est la semaine nationale de la sensibilisation à la stérilisation animale.

Dans le nord, il n'y a pas de vétérinaire. Les chiens doivent tout endurer ce que la vie met sur leur chemin, sans aide et sans médicament.

Au sud, nous avons la très grande chance d'avoir des soins pour nos animaux. Stériliser son animal permet surtout de diminuer les risques d'abandon, de maltraitance et de négligence pour un foyer où il y aurait une surpopulation d'animaux ou bien pour protéger contre un maître inadéquat qui se retrouverait en possession de bb chiens.

In the south, we are very lucky to have care for our animals. Sterilizing your animal allows above all to reduce the risks of abandonment, abuse and neglect for a home where there would be an overpopulation of animals or to protect against an inadequate master who would find himself in possession of bb dogs.

La belle Daisy 😍 ça fait 4 semaines que le maître applique le plan d'entrainement pour l'anxiété de séparation. C'est tellement long travailler ce problème que je comprends les maîtres qui se découragent !!! Mais ici, ce n'est pas le cas, maître et chien font leurs entraînements assidûment. Bravo 👊

La meute à matin qui marchait avec moi. Toujours fidèle au poste. Dès que l'on se voit nous sommes inséparables😍 il y a toujours un peu de protection de ressources comme vous pouvez voir dans la 2e vidéo. La ressource étant moi et l'attention que je leur donne.

Un beau Lab qui s'appelle Daisy 🤩 ici nous travaillons l'hyperattachement envers le maître (beaucoup de difficulté à être séparée physiquement de lui).

Dans l'anxiété de séparation et tout ses dérivés, il est important de comprendre que pitou doit être capable d'être seul 1 seconde avant de l'être 1 minute avant de l'être 1 heure. C'est un très long entraînement qui demande beaucoup de patience.

Dans la vidéo, nous entraînons le tapis-reste-out. Au lieu de dire "non" à son chien ou bien de l'enfermer, nous entraînons une commande pour qu'il travaille afin que nous puissions vaquer à nos occupations sans avoir un chien qui nous suit partout. L'objectif est un une séparation de 4h où pitou reste zen.

Les chiens du Nord 🤩 voici la vedette de la journée, un husky au poil long ! Il ne voulait pas que les autres chiens m'approchent comme vous pouvez voir dans le 2e vidéo (dans les commentaires) et entendre dans le 1er vidéo (dans les commentaires). C'est la 2e fois que ça arrive cette semaine🤔 je soupçonne la protection de resssource qui est l'affection et l'attention que je lui donnais.

Northern dogs 🤩 here is the star of the day, a long-haired husky! He didn't want the other dogs to approach me as you can see in the 2nd video (see below) and hear in the 1st video (see below). This is the 2nd time this has happened this week🤔 I suspect resource protection which is the affection and attention I gave him.

Chien du Nord🤩 Nous venions d'avoir un moment ce chien et moi. Je suis tellement gâtée côté chiens ici! En débarquant de la navette qui m'amène au travail, il était là. Comme vous pouvez voir, j'étais en mille morceaux de m'en aller travailler😭😂

Les chiens du Nord🤩 je suis allée marcher et ces 2 chiens sont restés avec moi tout le long. C'est la première fois que ça arrivait. Si j'arrêtais, ils arrêtaient. Si je changeais de direction, ils me suivaient. La femelle a même grogné après quelques chiens qui m'approchaient (on en a vu au moins 15). Je me suis sentie vraiment importante et spéciale🥰 ce fût déchirant comme séparation💔

Northern dogs🤩 I went for a walk and these 2 dogs stayed with me the whole time. It was the first time it happened. If I stopped, they would stopped too. If I changed direction, they would followed me. The female even growled at a few dogs approaching me (we saw at least 15 of them). I felt really important and special🥰 it was heartbreaking to separate at the end💔

Les chiens du Nord qui jouent ensembles 😍 ils ne sont pas domestiqués ni teintés par l'humain et ils jouent ensembles selon les règles de l'art!

Dans les jeux, ce que l'on veut c'est un "miroir" et une "partie de tennis".

Miroir dans le sens où les chiens jouent de la même façon. 2 chiens plus rough ensembles c'est ok!

Partie de tennis où l'un est dominant et ensuite l'autre est dominant. On peut voir que les rôles s'interchangent dans le même jeux.

In games, what we want is a "mirror" and a "tennis game".

Mirror in the sense that dogs play the same way. 2 more rough dogs together is ok!

A tennis game where one is dominant and then the other is dominant. We can see that the roles are interchanged in the same game.

Tu marches puis une gang de chiens courent dans ta direction😱 c'est épeurant surtout s'ils sont nombreux et s'ils jappent🥶 une bonne façon de savoir si tu vas survivre (lol) c'est justement en voyant les chiens s'en venir vers toi. Cela indique qu'ils sont curieux et qu'ils veulent te connaître. A EVITER: change de direction si le chien reste figé sur place à te fixer ou à japper. FIGER et FIXER combinés à JAPPER = avertissement canin de ne pas approcher. Il y a beaucoup de morsure malheureusement à cause de ça alors que faire un détour aurait été plus sécuritaire. You walk then a group of dogs run in your direction😱 It's scary especially if there are many of them and if they bark 🥶 A good way to know if you'll survive (lol) is precisely by seeing the dogs come to you. This indicates that they are curious and want to know you. AVOID: Change direction if the dog stays in place (freeze), stared (fix) at you or bark. FREEZE and FIX combined with BARKING = canine warning not to approach. Les chiens du nord 🤩 La protection de ressources est très présente dans le nord. Je vois à quel point c'est instinctif et automatique. Au sud, c'est un comportement que l'on tente de corriger à tous prix alors que dans le nord, c'est un comportement naturel. Ici, j'ai vu un ballon de soccer dans la neige. La seconde que j'ai approché le ballon (la ressource) les 3 chiens se sont énervés ! Ils ont sauté sur le balon pour finalement s'intimider entre eux🤷‍♀️ ensuite, il y a le chien-ado qui est venu s'en mêler. Trop cute😍 Mon constat est que la protection de ressources est innée et cela ne veut pas dire que le chien a vécu un traumatisme nécessairement. C'est juste un comportement non désirée chez les chiens domestiqués à cause des risques d'agressivité et de morsure. Resource protection is very present in the north. I see how instinctive and automatic it is. In the south, it's a behavior that we try to correct at all costs, while in the north, it's a natural behavior. Here I saw a soccer ball in the snow. The second I approached the ball (the resource) the 3 dogs got angry! They jumped on the ball to finally intimidate each other 🤷 then, there's the teen-dog who came to bark at the others. Too cute😍 My observation is that the protection of resources is innate and that does not mean that the dog has necessarily experienced a trauma. Le TEST DE CONSENTEMENT chez le chien. Lorsque je croise un chien, au nord comme au sud, je vais le flatter seulement s'il vient vers moi et puis je vais le flatter 3 secondes et attendre qu'il m'indique qu'il veut que je continue. Je répète cette technique jusqu'à ce que le chien parte. Cela est pour EVITER LES MORSURES. Même si un chien vient vers vous, cela ne veut pas dire qu'il a envie d'être flatté. Aussi, peut-être qu'il a envie d'une caresse vite vite sans que ça dure 5 minutes. Il est donc suggéré de faire des tests de consentement aux 3 secondes. Ici, clairement le chien accepte😍 The CONSENT TEST with dogs. When I meet a dog, in the north as in the south, I will pet him only if he comes towards me and then I will pet him for 3 seconds and wait for him to tell me that he wants me to continue. I repeat this technique until the dog leaves. This is to PREVENT BITES. Even if a dog comes to you, it doesn't mean he wants to be petted. Also, maybe he wants a caress quickly without it lasting 5 minutes. It is therefore suggested to perform consent tests every 3 seconds.
