First time entering the Canadian Taxidermy Competition at the Toronto sportsman show. Had 5 birds displayed and came home with 5 2nd place ribbons. Got some good critics to change and improve for next year.

Here are some examples of how not to bring birds to be mounted. Please try to seal up your birds in a ziploc and clean. Also repairs for shot damage is common and can be fixed, giant rips and missing feathers cannot be.
Try and bring your birds in like the last picture. Clean and in a air tight ziploc bag big enough to not bend the feathers. Never use pantyhose.
