🐾💪🏼Stoic the Vast has been one tough nut to crack. But after a lot of special attention from our team of cat whisperers, Mr. Vast has come around to the world of crunchy treats and ear scratches !!!

💙At 5 years old this handsome guy has the chubby cheeks to show for his time living as an unfixed stray !! He was quite beat up when he came to us, and still has a few nicks and scratches. Which is why we’re trying to find him the soft landing he deserves in a quiet and calm home !!!

🏡Stoic is calm and down to Earth, Ive never heard him make a peep !! He loves being pet as long as you start out slow and talk nicely to him, he seems to be very soothed by the voices of our volunteers and would love to be the introvert to someones extrovert❤️

🐈‍⬛We have had him neutered, vaccinated, and he has been given a clean bill of health. After a bit of trial and error, he now uses his litterbox like a champ !! He isnt a big fan of other cats (especially males) and would probably prefer to remain an only furchild. Come meet this absolute hunk in Curtis Corner on Saturday and Sunday from 12-2pm.

💪🏼He’s not JUST Samson, He’s Samson *The Brave*!!!
At 1.5 years old, this dashing silver tabby has spent most of his life living on the streets as an unfixed male.
He has a number of old bumps and bruises reminiscent of his days flying solo , and now he’s ready to live the cushy life of an indoor only cat.

💙Not only is he handsome, but he’s super friendly as well !! He loves nothing more than a good chin scratch with some snacks to follow it up. Due to his time in competition for food and other resources, he is not a fan of other cats and needs to be an only fur child.

🏡He has now put on some weight, been neutered, vaccinated, and aside from a few chipped teeth has a clean bill of health. He uses the litter box well and will make a great addition to a loving home. He is quite gentle and would potentially do well living with children. We’re not sure how he would do with dogs.

👯‍♀️At Katie’s Place , we have a couple of cardinal rules that guide us. One of those rules is that we never split bonded pairs up , even if it makes them harder to adopt out !!! If you’re thinking of adopting , please consider giving a bonded pair the chance to live happily ever after, together. We have many duos (and even trios) who want nothing more than to be besties furrever !!

🏡Third times the charm for our charismatic king Cirelli !! It took a few tries to find this odd fella his perfect fit, but he’s finally found his glass slipper (real Cinderella style). Cirelli is now an only cat in a large home with lots of frolicking room. He does have an older dog sister who he is getting along with very well so far !! After spending a few months on and off the KP block, he finally gets to live happily ever after.

🌞Many of you were concerned about what would become of little Lira after the recent adoption of her two besties, Piper and Narengi. Worry not, because their amazing adopter has decided to keep the whole squad together… Furrever!!!!! Today , after 6 months at Katies Place, Lira was reunited with Piper and Narengi and we couldn’t be more thrilled and grateful for this outcome. Thank you to their new cat dad for keeping this tight knit trio together and giving them a loving home.

🩵🐾With 3 of the bean gang out the door, we’re hoping the handsome Mr Soybean will have the same luck of a short stay at Katie’s Place !!

🏡At 1.5 years old he was surrendered to Katie’s Place after exhibiting aggression and innapropriate litterbox habits in his home. We weren’t really sure what to expect upon his arrival, but he has turned out to be a friendly and outgoing guy who comes when called and loves being pet !! And to top it off, so far his litterbox habits have been exceptional.

🐈‍⬛While we can’t explain what triggered his behavior in his previous home, we do feel that with the right fit he will continue to thrive as he has with us. He is a healthy boy with no concerns following a recent vet check. He has experience with dogs which was very positive , so we would love to see Soybean find a home with a dog friend !!

💙Although he has co existed nicely with his kitty room mates, we feel he would do best in a home without other cats. A cat savvy home is a must for Soybean !!! Come visit this handsome little man on Saturday or Sunday from 12-2pm.

🌞💚This adorable mother daughter duo has travelled quite a distance to find their furrever home , and now that they’re settled in it’s time to put the spotlight on them !!
Originally from Mexico, they lived on a resort that had begun to exterminate all the stray cats hanging around their property. Luckily for these two they were rescued by a good samaritan and brought back to Canada for a fresh start !!

💖Flo (Brown tabby female) - Estimated to be 3 years old, this little lovebug has completely opened up and shown us her wonderful personality. She loves to be pet, likes to follow us around , and is overall an affectionate and friendly girl. She can still be a bit shy with new people, but is quickly won over with a treat or two !!! She is a healthy little lady who uses her litterbox well.

💜Milli (Brown and white tabby female) - Estimated to be 1.5 years old. She is a bit more cautious than her mom, but everyday we see her making more and more progress. The key to her heart is also with treats, and it’s very easy to bond with her over a churu!! She no longer hides but still prefers to get to know you before allowing pets. She is healthy and uses her litterbox well.

🏡After living a life of instability and fending for themselves in Mexico, these two are ready to find a loving and quiet indoor only home. They have spent the last few months in a home being socialized! They get along great with cats and can live with other kitty companions , but the most important thing is they MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER ***. Oh… My… God Becky…. LOOK at Sir Mixalot😍🎤
We like Sir Mixalot and we can not lie… And we know the rest of you can’t deny !!! With a face like his it’s hard not to immediately break into song when you see him.

🩵Sir Mixalot’s life was turned upside down at 10 years old, when he was left with a cat sitter for what was supposed to be a 3 week trip to Quebec. Sadly, his owner decided not to return and left Mixie behind with the strangers his former owners had found on Facebook. Unable to keep him, he was surrendered to us about a month ago now and has taken some time to understand what’s happened… He lived his whole life as a single cat with the previous owner , so coming to the shelter was a massive change for him.

🏡So far he has kept to himself and been quite shy, only lately have we been able to entice him out with treats. We are trying our best to show him he is safe and loved, and we are seeing those efforts slowly but surely pay off. He grows braver by the day !! If approached by strangers he sometimes still gives a no claws swat, so building a relationship with him is key. He does allow pets and is a very chill gentleman.

❤️He has no health issues following his recent vet check, and uses his litterbox well. He would prefer to be an only fur child in a quiet and cat savvy home. If anyone needs a second shot at furrever, it’s this boy. Feel free to reach out for more info or come visit him in the Main Pen Saturday and Sunday from 12-2pm.

He’s cool as ice and cute as a button… For your viewing pleasure we present EDDIE BABYYYYYY💙🐈‍⬛ A newer arrival to our flock of wierdos, we’re thrilled to have him. But we would be even more thrilled to see him find his furrever home !!!

🏡If he was one of the seven dwarves, then he would definitely be Bashful. Without a dominant bone in his body, this sweet little angel is all about being soft and demure. At 2 years old you’d expect him to be climbing the curtains with energy, and while he does have a playful side he’s actually very chill and down to Earth.

✨Eddie baby has travelled far looking for his furrever home … He came all the way to us from our partner shelter on Vancouver Island !! He was trapped as a formerly feral cat turned sweetheart who is ready to live a nice indoor only life. He is still a bit shy but loves being pet and would flourish in a calm home.

🩵He has no health concerns and uses his litterbox well , he gets along with other cats and needs a kitty sibling in his future home. Message for more info or come see him Saturday and Sunday from 12-2pm !!
