For all pet sitting of Canines & Felines - proof of up to date vaccination & deworming is needed.

Every now and then I do allow the sitting to happen at my place if residence. IF this is the case, they are required to be crate trained.

Been quiet on this page, but still workin away behind the scenes!

Bein a mom,
Taking your doggos on walks,
Trimming pretty kitties nails,
And back to work in a vet clinic setting!
(I didn’t think I would miss work that much until I actually spent a few days at work again!)

I’m away on vacation until March 23/23, but once I’m home I’ll be back in full swing for the spring/summer!
Make sure to get your days booked up ASAP, as all the ‘busy & popular’ weekends are getting snagged fast!!

We didn’t get to enjoy too many walks from this awful heat but we enjoyed some tug of war and treats instead 😎

I’m not sure how so much time has already flown by already!

I’m currently booking WALKS/NAILTRIMS/DAY DROP INS for the month of august! (Sorry, still no overnights at this time!)

I will be away for family vacation Aug 26-Sept 6, when we are back I will be booking for the month of September 🤍

This first week is already booking quick so make sure you send me a message so I can come love on your fur babies!!

If you haven’t been outside lately and inside enjoying the AC - UPDATE - we’re under a heat warning. 🥵🔥 (what’s new Medicine Hat)

Dogs can’t sweat like we do - they dissipate heat through their tongues, paw pads and blood vessels close to the surface of their skin including their ears.

Provide your dog with shade, fresh cool water, a wading pool, even hose them off if you can.

Watch for signs of heat stroke like lethargy, drooling, disorientation, excessive panting and others and consult your vet if you think your dog is in danger!!!

& PLEASE DO NOT leave your dog in a vehicle even for short periods!

If you haven’t heard already, my tiny little boy arrived on the 22nd, 2 weeks early for us all to snuggle!

As I’m sure most of you have heard, I am officially CLOSED until further notice.

Stay tuned AUGUST 1st for an update of what my services will be at that time!

FYI: K9 distemper POSITIVE cases confirmed in communities east of Calgary.

I thought I would share since it is highly contagious (among unvaccinated dogs) and not commonly seen or considered in Alberta.

Symptoms: upper respiratory (crusty eyes or nasal discharge), jaw chewing, seizures/neuro signs or presents like parvo virus.

Please contact your veterinarian to ensure your pups are up to date on their vaccines!!

** note: this is not contagious to cats OR humans **

One more month until my own tiny baby will be here!!!

In the days leading up to July, I’m still available - however will be on a limited schedule and I will need you to be aware I may have to cancel in a moments notice if… you know… 😂

Once July hits I will officially be ‘CLOSED’ for at least a month - but will keep you updated as the time comes around.
All overnight pet sitting will be closed until future notice (drop ins are still available - just unable to do any over night care at this time!)

UPDATE:

Any further bookings for weekend/over night care will be subjected to a $50 deposit at the time of booking.

When I book these, I book that entire time just for YOU so I’m able to give your pets my full attention - that being said - I more than likely am turning away other clients that need care of the same days/times.

I do understand that things do happen and am very understanding that life can change with short notice - however this still a business & it is hard to fill those spots again once I have made prior commitments - for this reason if the cancelation happens within 48 hours of your scheduled booking the deposit is non refundable.

I unfortunately have to take an early medical/mat leave from my work - and during that time I was still hoping I would be able to do what I love and work with the animals (& their owners of course) of this city in whatever way they need!
