The Peoney, is a beautiful example of Biological Mutualism, the ants eat the sticky sugary wax that protects the Peoneys delicate petals in a tight round bulb! As the ants eat away this substance, the Peoney will slowly open!

Fun flora fact! Did you know that plants grow a LOT when there is a thunder ⚡ storm, but do you know why? Not just the rain 🌧️ but the lighting! Lighting creates nitrogen in the sky! When the rain droplets pass through the energy in the sky from the lighting, they collect the nitrogen it sticks to them! Then the rain falls to earth 🌎 and the nitrogen super feeds the plants!
