This is the face of a dog who feels understood.

Diesel has turned into a different dog since he arrived a couple of weeks ago. His insecure, hectic behaviour and indifference to engagement has faded into the calmest, most sincerely sweet energy. I sometimes forget he’s still a puppy! With continued consistency for his physical and emotional needs, he is going to shine with his new family. So happy for this pup. 💕✨

Meet “Yogi” the 2 year old German shepherd.

This fellow is full of energy and has a very pushy intense way about him. He has given his family a run for their money but the game is up and it’s to learn to be a cooperative member of the household. I love a challenge - especially in a shepherd body and he’s giving me lots 😊

Check out this stunning creature! Ruby the mixed breed adolescent is here for some help with keeping her dominant tendencied feral bloodlines in check. She’s a pushy pup but shes also very playful and sweet. I am enjoying helping her to be her best self so she can enjoy a long stress free life in her very committed loving home.

Meet Torvi, the Bernese mountain dog / poodle ! She is here for the next few weeks for overall manners and obedience work to help get her well started towards becoming a therapy dog. Here she is meeting our cows, Pheobe and jolene, for the first time. She thought if she showed them her best play moves, they’d be fast friends. 🤣

Dexter is heading home. He’s come a long way and changed from a white & black to grey & black dog! Haha. But his manners and obedience have also undergone immense change. We will miss having his spunky goofy self around and look forward to continuing to work with his family to ensure he maintains hearing more “good boys!” than “no, stop thats!” 😊 This video shows how to I use a horse lunge whip and a toy to exercise a high energy dog that doesn’t quite get enough out of his walks. Dexter was happy to demo.

Practising some recall work away from distractions with soggy Dexter today. Such a good boy!

Cashew and ally practising some loose leash walking at a local hardware store yesterday. 😊
