I have several chick kits available for pickup immediately at the farm in Fraserville. Any kits not picked up at the farm by Sunday will be available in Whitby Sunday evening.

If you’ve already requested a chick kit, I’m going through the waiting list now, starting at the top. If you haven’t reserved a kit yet, and you’re interested, please let me know via message as soon as possible. Last year there was about a 3 to 4 month wait list once kits started going out.

Christmas bunnies are going out today to Whitby. If you’re interested in fostering a bunny over the Christmas Break, they are available for pickup in Whitby this week, but I need to know today in order to send them. I won’t be getting any more before Christmas, so once these are gone, I won’t have any more until after Christmas. I will be keeping the rest of the bunnies at the farm, if you’re interested in picking up a bunny in Fraserville.

I know it might seem early, but the Christmas bunnies are starting to go out already. I’ll be away for the Christmas Break, so any bunnies going out now won’t need to come back until after the Christmas break. An extra long break for the same regular bunny kit price. Be sure not to miss out, I won’t have any more coming available before Christmas once these are gone. Pickup anytime this weekend at the farm in Fraserville or next week in Whitby provided you order this weekend.

I haven’t been having much luck hatching ducklings lately. Somethings just not right. My last batch I had 0 out of 50 hatch, and this batch I have 2 out of 30 hatched.

The good news is, I’ve got 2 ducklings, 3 days old available for a 2 week rental kit, pickup at the farm in Fraserville.

There were several last minute cancellations tonight. No worries, life is busy, totally understand.

But the good news is, I’ve got 4 extra bunny kits available in Whitby and 1 extra bunny kit available at the farm in Fraserville. Pickup anytime tomorrow. The complete kit with a bunny is 100 for 4 weeks.

There are a couple Lion head bunnies and several Dutch in Whitby. There is one Lion head at the farm.

There were a lot of people that originally indicated through Facebook that they were interested in my bunny kits. If you sent me a private message … I got it. If you replied to my post only, unfortunately Facebook won’t permit me to direct message you back. If you haven’t heard back from me yet, please direct message me that you’re still interested, so I can get you on my list and communicate with you.

I’ve got several kits coming available Tuesday and Wednesday this week for those interested. Private message me, and whether you’d prefer to pickup your bunny in Whitby or at the farm in Fraserville.

There is another new addition to my farm, and I need your help.

No she is not being fostered out to a family … she needs a name!

I welcomed my latest addition to the farm, to help Sophia protect my flock of birds.

She’s a Great Pyrenees crossed with a Saint Bernard. The 2 dogs are getting along so well, and it’s really brought timid Sophia out her shell. So nice to see.

But ‘new puppy’ needs a name.

I think I’d like a name that starts with an ‘S’ like her team mate Sophia, but I’m open to suggestions.

The bunnies have arrived!!

Messages will be going out shortly to those at the top of the list.

After talking with others that raise rabbits, and have much more experience than myself, they recommended that the bunny’s go to families for a month. My other programs are all 2 weeks, and I was originally planning on doing the same with the bunny’s, but based on their advice I’m going to make the program 1 month. Besides, families will now get an entire month with these absolutely adorable bunnies.

Pickups will start tomorrow afternoon at the farm, and tomorrow after 6 pm in Whitby. If you haven’t already done so, please let me know where you’d prefer to pickup.

Launching a new limited chick program with baby quail. This is the same pricing as the 2 week chick program, except you receive 2 baby quail chicks. If you’re interested in the new program, just send us a message. Quail chicks are less than half the size of most chicks. See the video below.

We just never know what surprises our incubators will have in the morning. Five days after our first duckling hatched, and three days after their expected hatch ... the last duckling arrived, along with several chicks. Right now, I’m sure that last duckling thinks it’s a chick.

And finally after a long awaited arrival, the first ducklings are starting to hatch! We will start contacting families on the waiting list tomorrow.

Deliveries and pickups tonight. We have a special edition this week from Dana Schultz who provided me with 2 ‘Naked Neck’ chicks. So cute!

There are 3 sets of chicks just hatched and available. Free delivery to Peterborough and Durham region. They can be at your house tonight.

There are a few kits coming available to rent this week. 1 kit on Sunday Dec. 6th 3 kits on Saturday Dec. 12th 1 kit on Sunday Dec. 13th Christmas kits are almost sold out, there are a couple left. The all inclusive 2 week rental package includes: - free delivery to Peterborough and Durham - 2 new chicks - food container and food - pine shaving bedding - water container - enclosed shelter (16”x16” by 14” tall) - heat lamp The package comprises absolutely everything you would need to care for the chicks for the entire 2 weeks, just add water and cuddles. The cost of the program is $50. There is a $50 refundable deposit for the equipment, that is returned with the return of the equipment. Simply message me directly to sign up.
