Every year on Dec. 6, we pay tribute to the 14 women murdered at École Polytechnique, as well as all those who have been victims of gender-based violence. In honour of the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women, we reaffirm our commitment to educate ourselves and our community on gender-based violence, and oppose the hatred that led to this tragedy to achieve a Canada free from gender-based violence.
