Welcome to the world little ones! Introducing the ❄️ Frozen ❄️ Litter North x Beau, 5 girls and 3 boys arrived this evening via c section. North and babies are all doing great!! ❤️ Thank you to the amazing staff at Haliburton Veterinary Services for coming in on your day off and doing a phenomenal job 👏 puppy names to come! ❤️🐾

Isla is heading home today! She has completed her 3 week Board and Train program and has made amazing progress. Today I will spend a couple hours with her family teaching them everything she has learned and how to continue her training. Included is also a personalized Training Plan for them to reference as they go! She also got a complementary groom last night so she goes home acting and looking her best! ❤️

Well this one's not very hard to count 😅 as expected, Latte's having 1 big special puppy ❤️ unfortunately due to its size, she will need to have a c section as we don't want to take any chances. Next week is going to be busy!! 🐾🥰

Today is Venture's 8th birthday!! The only boy in the house (and only border collie), Venture takes his job of caring for the girls and helping train dogs very seriously! He's the last of my sport dog generation and has an impressive resume of agility, flyball, rally obedience, dock diving, Superdog shows and lots of commercial and film work. His registered name is "Adventure Awaits" and what an adventure it's been so far, here's to many more birthdays Ven 🩵🤎

✨ Kya ✨ I know I'm biased but she is perfect 💗 She's a chill, go with the flow, up for anything kind of girl that is incredibly smart and funny, the perfect combo!! I can't wait for puppies from her in the fall 🍂

Penny is going home tomorrow and I'm sad! She's been here boarding for a month and has been an absolute joy to have!! She's grown and matured so much 🥰 be good and show your family everything you learned at camp, Penny! ❤️🐾

This little cutie is Layla! She is also here for a January Board and Train Program 🎓 Layla is from the Fritter/Floki Bridgerton Litter and is 7 months old. She is also Kya's mini!! They are full sisters, 1 year apart. Like most adolescent puppies, Layla is struggling with leash pulling, over excitement, questionable recall and seeing the kids in her family more as sibling playmates. I'm excited to work with her, if she's as smart as her big sister Kya then she will catch on quickly!! 🐾 (I also can't wait to trim both of their ears ☺️)

Isla arrived yesterday for her January Board and Train! Isla is from the Melody and Niles Music Litter! She is doing the Hybrid Training Program, she stayed back for a few weeks as a puppy to get a handle on crate training, house training and basic obedience. Now she is 9 months old and back for more comprehensive training. We will be working on leash walking, polite greetings, focus, recall, ecollar training and more! Isla is a free spirited wild child that needs consistent boundaries and structure! I'm excited to get to work on teaching her how to be the best version of herself ☺️🐾

Well the good news is Latte is pregnant!! Unfortunately, it looks like a very small litter. Nevertheless, I can't wait to have puppies in the house again and just hope that everyone arrives happy and healthy! 🐾❤️ North is due January 28th and Latte Feb 1st ☺️🤞

And that's a wrap on my January Board and Trains! Layla was a wild child when she arrived, with terrible leash manners as you can see. She took to training beautifully though and along with many other new skills, she now walks amazingly on and off leash! Had a beautiful 5k hike this morning with Venture, North and Salsa! Safe to say North thoroughly enjoyed herself 🤍

Came back from a hike to these 2 🦌 in the yard! I saw them first so immediately recalled everyone and threw a big handful of treats on the ground. Raven was the only one that saw them. She is wearing an ecollar but listened to my leave it command. If she hadn't, I would have had the collar to enforce my command. The deer went through the trees out to the road. Ecollars give so much safety and security when used correctly! This could have gone way different if my dogs weren't ecollar trained, like 6 dogs running down the road after the deer. Think what you might of ecollars, I will always support the *proper* use of them!

Tomorrow is the last day the dirty dozen will be all together!! This litter has definitely tested me (iykyk) but has also taught me a lot! Can't wait to watch them flourish with all their new amazing families!! Music 🎶 Litter Melody/Niles 8 weeks old

I set up my phone on a tripod to get some video of the pups playing in the yard (reel coming later)... But my phone was spotted and taken out 🤣

✨ Manding ✨ the art of learning self control and patience! It's dinner time and the puppies are hungry, if I allow it they would be screaming and jumping up on the pen in total chaos. If I fed them in that state, what are they learning? That chaos gets rewarded. But that's not what we want... So instead I take the time to calm them down by first rewarding them with a kibble when they are calm and making eye contact. Then when I step in the pen with the dishes, again I try and wait until as many of them are calm as possible. It's definitely more of a challenge with 12 as they feed off each other but this is only day 4!! Well on their way to learning that only calmness gets them what they want 🐾 .
