We took the dogs for their nightly p**p walk. If you know you know. Brittany says that she looks like a 1920s sharecropper, posed with all her children gathered around. She’s not far wrong.

New Brunswick here we come! Having a nice break at my sisters house in Illinois along the way. Then off we go to Canada once again! Looking forward to the pine trees and the cool summer breeze.

This is Princess Peach. She has what I lovingly call ‘resting sad face’. She is the main reason nothing gets done around here. I mean, come on! Could you walk away from that sweet, sorrowful little face to do something as trivial as laundry? Me neither. 🤷♀️

Peek-A-Boo! I see you! Hey everybody, meet Spike! Spike is a merle miniature poodle and he is going to be our new stud. I made the decision….for multiple reasons….to pause in breeding Shih Tzus and instead switch over to shipoos. So in the coming months you can look forward to seeing several litters of adorable merle shipoo puppies. Welcome home Spike!

I guess it was pretty cold and rainy yesterday and about 60°, so the coconuts pretty much spent the entire day sitting on the bed, looking out the window and being shameless voyeurs.

This video cracks me up. These babies know how to walk perfectly on a leash. But they were too busy attacking each other and rolling around in the leaves and jumping on Britney to be bothered with walking nice like big girls. I love these two little fluff muffins!

Some of the babies went home to Canada for the summer. It was quite a journey. But they are finally meeting their northern brothers and sisters!
Canada will ALWAYS be home to us! ❤️ ...

Hey everybody, I haven’t forgotten you and things continue going great here at North Wind Shih Tzus. But I did want to take a moment and explain that during this down time when I don’t have puppies ….or anything imperative to say…I wont flood your feed with tons of posts. I like sharing info/pictures/videos of my dogs, but I also understand that people don’t necessarily want constant updates cluttering their fb page. So enjoy this video of my goofy dogs running outside to play, and I promise to keep you in the loop regarding upcoming litters, etc. Enjoy!

Evelyn is REALLY not appreciating wearing the pool noodle of shame. She has a little boo-boo on her tummy that she keeps licking and digging at. Sorry Evelyn. You are in pool noodle prison for now.
This is not the most exciting video I have ever posted, but it gives you guys a good idea of what puppy playtime looks like. This morning I have it set up in my bedroom. This is where they get to snack, run, play with their cousins from the other litters, explore, and spend time with their mommies and aunties. It’s chaotic, often hilarious, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I love watching the sisters play together!
