Before Maple had her big surgery she was able to meet Santa courtesy of Project Paws & Bone & Biscuit - Port Credit

I am too busy at work or running the rescue to be able to get to do fun stuff like pet photos. I was very moved at the ability to get photos of all of my dogs, plus our adoptable dogs, and so many 30SixPaws Alumni dogs. I saw Penny & Storm (Maples Daughters) and it was amazing. I look forward to doing more regular dog mom stuff in 2025.

Melissa & Alyssa from Project Paws, and Flora & Family from Bone & Biscuit Port Credit have been an incredible support of this local rescue and I cherish these women and their love for animals. Thank you dearly for this.

As for Maples surgery, she is healing at home. She's acting like nothing is wrong which is good. She has 4 large incisions to remove 5 suspect bumps. 2 were sent to biopsy. Her incisions are large and I was worried about posting them and making people uncomfortable. If you would like to see her after photos send me a PM and I'll show you. She is supposed to get her stitches out Dec 24th.

I appreciate all the love for Maple.

Raya is adopted!

Raya went from on the euthanasia list to adopted in her forever home with Melissa Forrest. Melissa is a friend and past adopter (Lola)

Roo Roo Cat Rescue picked up Raya and got her the leg amputation Raya desperately needed at Lakeshore Woods Animal Hospital. Then Ashley Wagensveld stepped in right in time to foster Raya and was exactly what she needed. Ashley was such a huge support for Raya and I appreciate her help so much.

Working together gets animals adopted ❤️

***Closed for Intake, for now, and maybe forever due to the massive 39k debt with no resolve in sight***

😢 The surrender requests in the last few days are painful, 2 different Corsos, a slew of Bullies (one very very urgent), a shep/collie mix, and a couple cats.

🏥 Rex was in the animal hospital today, awaiting some tests results, experiencing diarrhea and vomiting which is not like him at all. His foster moms had thier cat die suddenly this morning of a heart attack and I feel for them all right now.

🐈 Jagger went to stay with the senior vet tech at Lakeshore Woods Animal Hospital, Crystal, and recover with her, he's in great hands. I can breathe easier because of her.

🤕 Capone and Maple are healing from their surgeries.

Maple is having surgery to remove 4 potential mast cell tumors from her body. 1 left hip, 1 right hind leg, and 2 on the right hip. This will be her 3rd surgery for MCT. I will send 2 of the removed areas for biopsy.

Please keep Maple in your thoughts. I have full faith and trust in Dr. Meadwad, he looks out for my girl and I appreciate that so much.

Maple is my very best friend, I have a connection with her that runs deep into my soul. This dog changed my life and was the catalyst for this rescue. It was her case, her puppies, her strength that pushed me to carry on. If you have adopted an animal from 30SixPaws Animal Rescue from 2020 - Now it is because of Maple. She is the heart and soul of this rescue. She changed my life and the life of soooo many other animals and people.

Our baby boy Capone had TPLO surgery at Lakeshore Woods Animal Hospital on Friday Dec 6th. An orthopedic surgeon specialist came to the clinic, and 2 hours later Capone had some bone removed, a metal plate and screws implanted in him. He has ALOT of stitches and my heart breaks for my baby. If anyone has rehabilitation referrals or experience with this please reach out. His 2nd knee was also recommended to be operated on in 2 months+ based on the healing of this one. I will need to do excercises for him and then once the sutures are removed look into aqua therapy and other rehabilitation.

Teddy & Parker, 4 month old male domestic kittens, vaccinated and fully vetted. Will be neutered shortly. Happy go lucky kitten brothers looking for a home. They've had exposure to dogs and are cat friendly. Located in Mississauga

Foster or Adopt bottom Left:
Benny, 1yr old, 60lbs olde english bulldogge. Mild food allergies, Pulmonic Stenosis on medication (Atenolol 50mg). Needs a strong handler who can help in basic obedience training. Food, medication and training will be supplied. Located in Mississauga

Adoptable Middle:
Ruby, 2-3, female spayed, vaccinated, 60lbs, American bully mix, dog friendly with proper introduction, cat friendly, people friendly. Located in Mississauga

Adoptable Right:
Rex, 2yrs old Bully Mix 85lbs, neutered male, vaccinated. No medical issues. Recieving doggie daycare at dog friendly, cat friendly, has stranger danger and will need continued training to help settle in. Located in Welland.

*Jagger Removed due to illness, pls see comment section from 2 days ago for details*

📣Closed means closed but I had a moral obligation to this case. I rescued 9 cats from a hoarding house in March. This week one of the 9 was in need again and I had to do for him now what I wish was sorted in March. 7:30am pick up yesterday and relying on my friend Random Rescuer to use her vet for help (Kahu Animal Rescue) and Jagger was dropped off and hospitalized while every test imaginable is being performed to get him sorted. Currently at $800 and climbing Jagger needs financial support but more importantly right now a foster home. Help me make this right.

Foster needed with Diabetes experience, all supplies covered by Rescue, must be able to quarantine for now.

30SixPaws Animal Rescue is in massive debt.
The total $39,726.85
The debt has me unable to move forward.
I cannot vet another animal. I can't buy another bag of food. I cannot buy another medication.

This is the scariest thing I have ever faced in rescue, being almost bankrupt yet still having costs that amount monthly. I have dogs & cats to feed, I have medications to buy, I have upcoming spay and neuter surgeries I need to pay for, I have daycare/training fees, I have follow up vet visits..... and I've hit a wall and I don't know what to do.

It's suffocating, I'm not sleeping, I'm stressed all the time. The interest on the debt is $683 a month which is nauseating. I have no idea how to pay this off. I have no idea how to afford to continue. I am not a home owner, or someone with assests. I need a miracle and I am not a person who gets miracles.
