Please note - I am on vacation Saturday 10th August till Saturday 17th August. But it’s business as usual as the lovely Amanda will be moving into my home to run the business.

Hello puppy owners… how do you all feel about this! Seeing as it’s supposed to be between 2 - 4, and the schools are also for the children’s safety? Do I need to cancel walks?

Recommendations for Pet Pros during the solar eclipse

As Pet Pros, we know that pets are sensitive to their environment. During the eclipse, there will be a sudden and somewhat profound change to the day's light and normal hue, the temperature and, as poignantly, pets will cue in to changes in the way their guardians are responding. This may trigger anxiety and behavioural change in some.

In the event some pets may develop anxiety, we urge Pet Pros to form a plan to keep their client pets calm, safe and well within an acceptable/normal stress threshold by returning them home prior to the event start, as a safeguard. Consider starting your day earlier and/or switching some to potty breaks to finish the work day before environmental changes are perceptible.
