Big Dog Grooming We groom dogs of ALL sizes in a one-on-one enviroment, to reduce the chaos. No walk-in services, we operate by appointment only.

Cancellation or appointment changes require 24 hrs notice, late cancellations or no-shows are subject to additional fees.

What are they, besides pretty? They are a Labrador Cane Corso mix and Lab Retriever.

In for a bath, dry, nail trim, dremmel, ear cleaning and gland expression.

Looking for a groomer that specializes in large breed dogs?

We groom all breeds big and small.

We’re located in Mitchell.

We groom one-on-one, meaning no other dogs are in the shop while yours is getting groomed, unless you have a multi-dog household.

We also offer evening and weekend hours so you don’t have to take off work.

We offer full grooming services, nail trims and dremmeling, baths, bath and tidy ups, gland expression, ear cleaning, pad and paw trims and more.

We are accepting new clients.

Twins? Nope.

Meet Zara (L) and Gizmo (R) both Keeshonds from the same household. The only time we will have multiple dogs in the shop. This helps with their anxiety level as they can keep on close eye on one another.

Breeds like this have lots of undercoat and take a while to groom thoroughly. They did a very good job of tolerating the process!

Echo (a 3yr old Cane Corso) is a girl afraid of water but not today. She’s a clean pup. We made sure she was comfortable and kept any added noise and sudden movements down to a minimum…. And the goobery kisses, we need showers now lol! 😆

At Big Dog Grooming we believe that puppies 🐶 should get used to being groomed at a fairly early age.

Meet Rudy, a 4 month old Bernadoodle in for a bath, dry, nail trim, and face tidy so you can see those puppy eyes …and a paw touch up. On his next visit he will be ready for a full haircut.

A puppy’s first appointment allows them to get comfortable with their surroundings, the sounds and smells.

Being a one-on-one groomer, this time is designed to reduce the anxiety that comes with being in a new environment. When it’s just us and them, and no unsafe distractions they do amazing.

Rudy really did well - he loves to cuddle when his body was being dried, but he didn’t like the dryer on his head so we dried from a distance.

Before he left we practiced going up and down the steps that lead to the table, we turned on clippers so he’d get familiar with the vibration on his body and of course played for a little bit ….and lots of kisses were given by this sweet boy. So hard to say goodbye to them when they are this adorable. 🥰

Such a sweet girl. In for her first groom with Big Dog Grooming.

She was a good dog, very well behaved for grooming. Who loves to give paw.

She felt like a teddy bear when she left! It was great to meet her and her wonderful dog-mom!
