These two Haflinger girls are looking for their next home. Ideally, we would love to see them sold together as they are sisters and have spent much of their lives together.

Both mares are saddle broke however they have been out of work some time and would certainly need a refresher. They are 13 and 14 years old. They are up to date on their vaccines and farrier visits.

Dilly

✨ Dilly (Raj Bonzai) ✨

14 year old registered Arabian gelding.

Shown in halter class in his younger years, most recently has had three months of professional groundwork and riding training. Would be a great candidate for dressage but has also could go western with the right guidance. This guy wants to please, is very attentive and is a quick learner.

Has done some trails. Our arena time currently includes mounted W/T/C and groundwork. He’s very sharp and responsive, doesn’t offer anything naughty and comes with a goofy, in your pocket personality. Dilly knows no boundaries of a personal bubble when it’s time for cuddles.
No vices.

This guy would be a great fit for an intermediate rider who is looking for a maintenance-free, sound horse with endurance capability. Dilly is in a complicated relationship with puddles.

UTD on everything.
He loves treats and face scratches. He loves attention and cuddles.

On site lessons would be contingent of the lease terms. Duration is flexible.

✨Honey✨

7 year old grade QH mare. 15 HH.
Honey has had six+ months of professional groundwork and riding training.

Has done lots of trails, her favourite activity. Our arena time currently includes mounted W/T/C and groundwork. She has a big woah, and very little bothers her. She can go western or English and has limited experience jumping. Preference to keeping her to flat work only but open to occasional cross rails.

She will stand in tied without any fuss for hours, and doesn’t mind a good bath time.

This girl would be a great fit for an intermediate rider who is looking for a maintenance-free, sound horse. Honey is sweet as pie, and thrives with open communication.

UTD on everything. She absolutely loves treats of any kind.

Exquisite DM "Quizzy"
Salisbury NB
Available for half lease (on property)

Large bodied 16.3hh 8y/o TB cross mare

Still considered green, but is generally a kick-ride. Not lazy, but prefers to drive in 1st and 2nd gear. Nice steady rocking canter and comfy couch trot, brakes are 10/10 with enthusiasm.

Temperament is gelding in a mares body. Like a labrador with FOMO. Very friendly and sociable, needs to be all up in your business all the time. Constant pest to paddock mates, with a terminal case of the clumsies. Not a leader but a follower, could do with some confidence building and new experience beyond the 4 walls of an arena.

Original discipline was to be a hunter/jumper or eventer, but some days we are more legs than brain, and the flat life might be more suitable if only to save on replacing stepped on trot poles.

Leasers are more than encouraged to start playing with crossrails and verticals, but Olympic contenders we are not. Can-do attitude, but talent to do so TBD.

As a greenie she can be a nervous with new situations, but is more of a stop and stare than exit stage right.

Preference for intermediate-experienced riders, but older juniors welcome to trial

Showing opportunities available, all tack provided. 1 ride a week required to be lesson with a coach for Juniors.

Lease fee based on shared board and costs.

✨Trick✨

This handsome fella is looking to stay busy over the winter months. Trick is more suited as an English mount as he has 3 beautiful gates and is a forward thinking guy (not suitable for over fence work). Trick is a special guy who requires a special person. He is not mean or dirty but needs a soft hand and a soft heart to win him over.
Lease terms are negotiable however lessons are mandatory as part of the lease.

2007 AQHA bay mare. 15.3 hh.
Pleasure bred, shown in western pleasure but has also done jumping, English and reining. She is currently used for trails as well as basic groundwork and riding lessons for our family.

She isn’t bothered over trailering and is always up for an adventure. Most often when we do trails, we are hunting. Mounted gunfire is no bother to this sweet girl. We bring our dogs on our trails which is no bother to her either.

She would make an excellent husband horse or would be the horse of every little girl’s dreams. I will ensure she has the absolute best home.

Middle of the pecking order.
She will stand in crossties as long as you need her to. She knows when it’s appropriate to be dull or sharp, and she has so much patience and forgiveness.

She loves treats and scratches.
She does require shoes for maintenance.

Laylah is looking for her forever home, to only the best home that she has earned and deserves. 🦄
I am alternately happy with Laylah staying on site for lease. On site lessons would be contingent of the lease terms. Duration is flexible.

She is good for the farrier, she ties/crossties, she loads on a trailer great. She is up to date with farrier and worming but is due for routine teeth and vaccines this fall

🍁One training spot for October came available🍁

How does one advertise to take on quality trouble makers who don’t want to make good life choices? The kind whose owners love them the very most and want to offer them the best life. The kind who have the talent and brains but choose to not use their powers for the greater good.

Send them my way. They are my favourites. The hard ones who make you show up as a trainer, coach and human.

But be ready.
It’s not always a quick fix, sometimes we have to evaluate the whole picture and not just the behaviour itself. Sometimes a biased eye misses a very crucial part in what shapes that behaviour(teeth, ulcers, pain, etc.). So let’s look at it together.

Not only should the horse world be a community but a community of resources. I have some of the best resources in my corner to help the horse, because at the end of the day we all want our horse’s well-being to come first.
