Flyball Agility Maritime Express (F.A.M.E.)

F.A.M.E had an amazing time at the Dogfathers Tournament hosted by FnF Flyball Club.

One of our newer dog members Addie, was able to be 7th dog Sunday on the open team and she did great. She really got into the racing so much that she did lose her mind a bit, but we were able to bring her back and she finished on a good note with her last warmup (doing full runs catching the ball).

Barbara (human) got taken out by Kiara (dog) Saturday, on our first run of the day 🫣, so we did what every good team does and ran her dogs for her. But, on Sunday, she was able to run her dog Random all day and stayed on her feet! 🎉

All the dogs ran pretty clean. Just 2 dropped balls. The majority of our flags were human fault.

Elly (this is only her third tournament) ran great even when a few dogs crossed for their balls or when Random decided to rerun on her. She was not going back without her ball and did all her jumps for that treat!

Molly and Elly ran on the same team twice and did great!

Our Open Team, The Odd Balls,came in 1st both days, and our Regular Team, Seeing Double, came in 2nd both days.

FAME is in PEI this weekend for the FnF Dog Fathers Tournament. One of our doggy members is very excited to be there.

What an amazing first Flyball Tournament of the season!!!! Thank you so much to the clubs who came to participate from near and far.

Freddy Flyers - we hope you had a wonderful inaugural weekend as a Flyball Club. You guys did amazing!!

It was wonderful to see all the new faces and new dogs who have joined since last fall!!! Look forward to seeing more of you. Green dogs rocked Saturday and Sunday!!!

And a HUGE shout out to the Kiwanis Canteen and Arena Staff for looking after all of our needs, even when we had to call the arena staff in after hours on Saturday night. 😜

Hi everyone!!! Our tournament is just a few short days away. We are still looking for volunteers to help line judge on Sunday. We will teach you what to do so don't be afraid to come see anyone in black and red. You can also send a message here if you like. For anyone that line judges, you get a ticket per race for a prize. Also, the canteen will be open and it is cash only. Can't wait to see you!!!

This past weekend, FAME sent a small team to the States for the Maneiac’s and Fire and Ice joint tournament! We were a small crew and we managed to place first in our division!!!
We had a blast and loved every minute of it!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours!!!

And it’s done until April next year. Last tournament was in beautiful Borden in Prince Edward Island on the weekend. 4 members were playing Saturday and 5 on Sunday and we were so fortunate to have a Tater (Carleton County Club dog) help us on both days. Thanks Carol Ann and her boy Bowen for Saturday and Lisa and her boy Chip Sunday.

Our open team: FAMEOus Tater earned a 3rd place on Saturday and a first on Sunday 👏

We also want to send a big shout out to Diane from FnF for the help Boxloading for our team on Saturday and Denise on Sunday. Just 3 Veteran FAME bodies plus Tanya our newest member, was a little hard but also thanks for everyone who stepped up, wether to ball s**g, call pass, run a dog WHATEVER it was - THANK YOU, we couldn’t of done it without you.

No titles were earned on the weekend. But it was a blast getting some points to get closer to the next one.

We also had 2 green dogs, ROCK their mat time - way to go Ellie and Addy 👏

Thank you FnF for hosting such a great tournament, judge was ok ( 😜) all kidding aside, we loved him 😊 and the great volunteers you got as well .

Congratulations to all title earners, placements and personal best out there. Also a happy retirement to Zero from Maple Leaps ❤️

We now go back to winter training and looking forward to hitting the mats in April

It’s a wrap - tournament over and out. Next time we will try to make a deal with Mother Nature so it’s not has hot 🥵 we we’re not ready in September for it to be so hot but we made it.

Another emotional one is our sweet Barb and her girl Moxie retired at this tournament 😢 so hard but a retirement well earned ❤️ thank you for everything and you know F.A.M.E for ever 😘

We also had a celebrity guest attend : none other then Mr Chris Evans 😂

TOURNAMENT WEEKEND - woot woot 😁
We have finished setting up to host this weekend’s FLYBALL TOURNAMENT at the Petitcodiac arena. If you are free and want to see dogs fly, come check it out. From 9 am to approx 3pm - Free admission and canteen will also be open. We are truly looking forward to seeing our friends from Region 10 attend.
Let’s run fast and clean but most importantly let’s HAVE FUN
