Well today we went to a bigger bird for Marley. This time I trusted her and it worked out but the following it did not but I like to trust her a little to see what I need to improve on. She is still delivering to hand so I am encouraging that she is not old enough for the trained retrieve yet next month. But we are please with her and her drive. We are going to keep working on obedience and proof that so we can start the transition to the collar.

This is the second part of Marley and I training. Again she is not quite 6 months so keeping her under control. I am trying to get her at ease with sitting away from me and staying calm. The only command is sit not sit and stay just sit. On the recall we are also trying to get her to do front finishes to order to put her at ease with remote sits which later plays a part in caasting drills. It is no fun having a nervous dog when they are told to sit a distance from you so getting them use to this is important. This sit command and her ability to understand could stop her in the fuutre from being hurt if she happens to bolt because she see a person.
Junior Hunt test
This was Rock running the water series at the Moncton Retriever Hunt test. For 7 months he has lots of fire and desire. Rock went on to earn his last leg needed for his Junior title we are quite happy with him. Now the work to get him ready for Senior and Master.
We were out training today and this is Rock doing the single. We feel his line manners are getting better a work in progress. He had a little trouble near the end but figured it out without help..
