Hello Everyone, I hope you’re all having a wonderful day! BasilHammy is looking for volunteers to foster hamsters, rats, and mice, (and potentially guinea pigs)! To apply to be a foster you must meet certain requirements! They aren’t very hard, you just must have a suitable enclosure/s for the animal and have basic knowledge! I will just ask you to tell me what you know about the animal and let me see your enclosure. Fostering animals in need is a great way to help them and show your support and love for them! Jerry is up for adoption! Theres a 25$ adoption fee. Jerry is a sweet boy. His birthdate is unknown, but he is around 4-6 months old. Jerry is pretty friendly and social, he would be a good family pet. He is active later at night, around 12, and goes to bed early in the morning. He requires at least 800 square inches of (UNBROKEN) floorspace in his enclosure, I suggest even more as the more space, the better. At least 8 inches of bedding. Lots of enrichment. A 11-12 inch wheel (not saucer). and lots of love. Please contact me for more information or if you are looking to adopt. I require to see pictures of your enclosure (fully set up and ready) BEFORE you adopt him.

Sadie is up for adoption! Theres a 25$ adoption fee. Sadie is a sweet girl born on April 9th 2023. She can be pretty shy and nervous and will need to be handled daily. I do not recommend she be around children as she tends to nip on fingertips if she smells anything on them or if she is frightened. She requires at least 800 square inches of (UNBROKEN) floorspace in her enclosure, I suggest even more as female hamsters are very picky. At least 8 inches of bedding. Lots of enrichment.
